I was in Marietta for only one night but would have loved to stay longer. The staff made me feel right at home from the time I walked through the doors. They were friendly and professional at all times and each one of them went out of their way to help me find some specific items I wanted to bring home for my children. At other very pricey hotels I've stayed at, when the concierge couldn't help me, he or she would always ask another person. If that was unsuccessful I would get an apology. At this Crowne Plaza, the two women behind the desk, Anne and Mahogany kept giving me options and ideas of where I could find the items. When we exhausted those options, they involved their manager, Ella. She went out of her way to personally drive me to the store where I could find the items for my children. When I was ready to return, the hotel was very busy and didn't have a driver to come and get me, so the engineer , Ernest, took time from his responsibilities to pick me up so I wouldn't have to wait long. When I tried to thank him, he only responded that making sure my stay is pleasant and I get what I need is everyone's responsibility at the hotel. I didn't think this work ethic existed any more.
It is very obvious that the management at this Crowne Plaza has it right. They encourage what they teach and the staff is obviously very happy there. The next time I am anywhere near Marietta, I will stay at the Crowne Plaza and will recommend it to my colleagues who travel here.
