Let me be clear from the outset here. This is not a bad hotel. Heck, in many parts of the country, I'd probably consider this a great hotel - at least in comparison to it's competition. However, my company has their headquarters in Marietta, so I end up staying here a lot, and I can think of at least three other properties within the city that I had a much better impression of. During my stay I experienced several problems, none of which I would consider major. One of the elevators was out of service, appently marked as out of commission by a Wet Floor sign. Maybe that was the only sign they had. The only recumbant bike in the fitness center was broken and not marked as out of order. I was told that this property didn't have suites-don't know what was up with that. My main impression of this place, though, was that it was inferior in quality to the other major chains' properties of comparable class. Cheap exercise equipment, old CRT (tube) TVs, their "Club Lounge" was just an unmodified hotel room. There's nothing like passing an open bathroom door with a view of a toilet when entering club lounge to say "classy". On the plus side, parking and internet access were both free, but that is also typical for this area and class of hotel. I also want to commend the Customer Service Manager, who seemed genuinely concerned about my impression of her hotel. I really do appreciate that.
