Upon arrival at the resort we were nervous from the reviews but once in the lobby we quickly were amazed!
The lobby "ladies" were very friendly and helpful, throughout our stay we would chat with them while waiting for our daughter. We booked a king room and when we opened the door a sense of shock came over us......what a nice room! The room was a corner room so we could go out on our large balcony! The room was equipped with a mini bar area with sink, fridge, desk and chair, and the usual TV, nightstand, bed (!), table. They provided us with a sleep kit that included eye mask, sleep cd, pillow mist, night light, and curtain clip. That was a nice added bonus.
We also had a coffee maker but were disappointed because it only makes coffee for one person which means we had to steal coffee from a maid cart in order to get more than one cup!
The maid did a wonderful job of cleaning each day and met our requests. The conceirge gentleman was very informative and friendly!
A few negatives:
The restaurant had EXTREMLY slow service. We were the ONLY ONES in there at lunch and it took over 30 mintues to get a sandwich. And the Lounge was closed because they didn't get their liquor license but they were wokring on it. We were disappointed because we thought since they advertise a lounge they would be open. Wrong we were. And when we asked when they would have it open they told us hopefully in a day or so. We stayed 4 nights and it still wasn't open.
All in all it was a great hotel, I would suggest this for business travelers. It is located right off the interstate so it was easy to get to!
