“Great scones!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011 via mobile

A charming place with good coffee and wonderful scones. So happy to find a coffee shop in that part of Georgia open on Sunday.

“A Charming Place to Relax & Refresh”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

The service is friendly & prompt. Tasty appetizers & small bites. Wine list is very reasonable. Caramel cake is worth every calorie.

“Staff needs help”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2011 via mobile

This place has so much potential! The menu is awesome, the food taste great but the staff are absolutely clueless about customer service! In the dead of the day the staff were more concerned about prep chores than customer attention. The food was pricey for very minimal amounts of food. The club sandwich had 1 piece of ham and a fourth of a piece of turkey. The order was wrong the first time and the cook looked infuriated that she had to correct it. We order chips and salsa as a side and about 2 tsp in a small cup came out. When we asked for more it never came. It took forever for anyone to notice we needed refills, a check or to pay. The staff don't work together as a team so you have to sit and wait until your server decides to come over even the others aren't doing anything. So disappointed I almost got up and told two people coming in don't waste your money here. We considered adding a piece of cake but thought we didn't have 30 more minutes of our lives to give away just to get it!

“An eclectic coffee shop, cafe and bar rolled into one. We stopped in for breakfast but they have live music some nights...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2010

An eclectic coffee shop, cafe and bar rolled into one. We stopped in for breakfast but they have live music some nights and serve beer and wine. Lunches and desserts both looked good. Our breakfast items were great. The only reason they don't get five stars is because my sausage patty and biscuit was served a bit cold. The grits were creamy and wonderful. The cafe has about 8 tables as well as several couches where you can hang out and talk. Service was friendly and professional. Madison is a neat old town and we'll stop by again while passing through between Florida and South Carolina.

“We love their sandwiches and coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2008

We always visit The Perk Avenue Cafe on our way to the Smokies.
They have a great selection of coffee's and tea's.
Their sandwiches are to dye for.
Besides I love their decoration , the paintings from Betty van Molen.
Great service, atmosphere and food.
What more do you want?
Madison is a great town with beautiful old buildings.
But never forget to get you a great sandwich and an ever better cup of coffee at Perk Avenue Cafe and Coffeehouse.
