“Wonderful local venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

I have attended several events at this theatre over the last few years, including Funny Fridays, plays, musicals, and performances by the Metro Jazz Club. I love the location in downtown Lawrenceville, with free and convenient parking attached directly to the theatre. There are also several good restaurants on the square, so it makes a nice date night.

My only complaints are with the comedy shows. Most of the comedians have been great, but occasionally, there are duds. And the hostess really needs to get some new material! Everytime I have gone, she does the same routine and it's gotten really old. It's enough to make me not want to go again....just do not want to hear those stories again.

The Metro Jazz Club is awesome!

“Where else but locally?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Atlanta has some great places for theater, BUT - where else can you see ALL of the stage, hear the actors and enjoy the venue AND the seating?

We saw "BOB". Eclectic but fun, and well, the local actors are literally reachable if you want to talk, enjoy or simply congratulate.

Decent food and drink pricing - GREAT local actors and a fun night for far less than "Downtown" Atlanta.. Close to home and worth the season pass...

“Wonderful intimate theater!”

Seating is very comfortable & there isn't a bad spot to sit in this theater.........you can see the entire stage from anywhere. Parking isn't easy to find.

“Excellent place to see a show!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

Although I may not be a fan of all shows I've seen here, the venue is great! you are never far away from the stage and the stage is usually well set. Parking is free also.
