“Fine place to spend the night”

This was a fine place to spend the night.

I don't know if I'd want to spend several days in the small room, but for one or two nights it's fine.

The room was clean and well appointed. It had nice bedding and a cute window seat that our cat loved.

The tv was strangley placed up high and at a tilt toward the beds. Not great for your neck, but fine for one night.

The plumbing was a little noisy and the water pressure not great. This may be due to drought restrictions, don't know.

If you know you're going to be stopping in the area, it's worth checking out their website. They had several different rates, we got ours for $50 plus $10 for our pet.

It was a great deal

“cute little room, good value”

This little room is really quite a bargain. It was new and relatively clean. We had trouble with the TV.......a black square kept obliterating the picture! Then we had trouble with the wireless internet.....finally connected with a cable provided by the front desk. We had a room very conveniently near a back door with grass for our dogs. This is in one of those large shopping plazas with every kind of hotel you can think of. Breakfast left a lot to be desired but for the price it was fine. Overall I would stay again but not for more than one night.

Stopped here on the way to Florida based on the good reviews on this site. We wished we'd kept on driving. Room was not very clean -- hair on the bathroom floor and stains on the towels. There was so much hair on the sheets on both beds that we requested fresh sheets from the front desk and changed them ourselves. Staff was nice and we liked that they allowed pets since we had a small dog with us. We wouldn't stop here again.

We just got back from a trip to Disney World and stayed a night at the Microtel Inn in Kingsland, GA.
The hotel is new, extremely clean, quiet and safe. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.
It was easy to find and right off the highway and you could not hear any outside noises inside the rooms.
We did have the front desk call our room the second night though to say our neighbors could hear the kids and wanted them to settle down. We had only been in the room a few minutes and my son was crying.
The room itself was nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The beds were super and where most beds hurt my hips and back, these did not.
There is a window seat which we used as a bed for my oldest son and he loved it.
There was a huge TV and the shower curtain rod was curved for more space in the shower.
The breakfast was very simple and we just skipped it the second time and went down the street to Cracker Barrel.
There was a little milk in a pitcher, fruit loops and flakes in a dispenser, a apple juice and OJ dispenser, waffle maker, bread and little sweet muffins.
There was a computer with internet for use in the lobby.
This was our first stay at a Microtel hotel and we were very pleased. I will definately look at Microtel's first from now on.

“Good stay”

Microtel Inn & Suites Kingsland

This hotel is one of the newer hotels in the Kingsland area, and construction on the swimming pool seemed to still be going on. Hotel is well signed from the road, and I had no problem finding it. From the outside, it's a typical looking Microtel, with well-kept grounds, a clean parking lot, and a clean and bright building. The lobby area is spacious and welcoming. My room was a single Queen non-smoking. The room and bathroom looked and felt clean, and the bed was comfortable. The TV was bigger than I had expected (flat screen too!). Even though my room was on the side of the building that faced I-95, I never heard any room noise nor any noise from any neighbors.

As a previous review stated, the water in Kingsland does have a distinct taste, so I may recommend that you bring a few bottles of water into the room.

Overall, a great place to stay in the area.
