This place is a mess even though it looks as though attempts were made, and money spent, to upgrade ... Our room was recently "renovated" and the room itseff was reasonably well done, except for the chewing gum on the wall light and the poorly patched and painted walls... The bathroom was the product of some junior achievement class, though the work was not done as well ...The results of the cleaning staff efforts show no management ovesight.

One of the worst places I've ever stayed at. Jimmy the front desk guy was very nice though. Hotel is terrible...if you need wireless internet and you stay on the side facing Motel-6...that hotel's wireless over powers the Comfort so you basically have no internet access.

Room was dirty, wallpaper peeling from the wall, door did not seal tight so bugs flew in at night (had to roll up towels to place in cracks in door to stop this), found what looked like to be bug droppings in bathroom, noise from I-95 was brutal.

Don't let the picture of the lobby fool you, everything else about this hotel is very shabby. The Sleep-Inn right across the street is a much better place.

Travel a couple of extra miles down I-95 and stay in the Comfort Inn in Yulee, FL...MUCH better/cleaner hotel. Avoid this place.

Carpet had not been vacuumed, hairs all over floors. Bathroom had not been cleaned, and there were fleas in tub and in carpet. The wall in the bathrroom had been cut(evidently for access to pipes) and had that portion of wall( about 18") taped back in place and painted over tape. We scratched and were very uncomfortable for the entire night. If we hadn't been so tired from our trip, we would have checked out and looked for another hotel. we have stayed in many other hotels in the same chain, and have always found them to be clean and comfortable. That is why we chose this one when there were many others available for less money in the same area.

They were doing major construction, and stuck us in a room beside all the noise of I-95 as well as the hammering and pounding. We had to walk around all of the construction equipment and the furniture they were moving in. Thank God it was only one night.
