“Low Country Boil”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

If you like a low country boil, check-out Seejay's. The LCB is very good but the of the menu is just so-so. If they had a broader dinner menu with fried shrimp or fish I would have moved them to Very Good because I had some folks with me that wanted fried seafood.

Thank you very much on the compliments of our Low Country Boil. We strive to make sure that the All You Can Eat LCB meets every expectation and taste bud. I apologize that we do not serve fried shrimp. We have not served anything Fried since the doors opened in 1993. We are looking into the possibility for that change in the future, but as for now we will just stick to the current menu items. Thank you very much again for the kind words on our LCB and we look forward to your next visit with us at SeaJay's.

“Seajay's Needs a Manager on Their Premises!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

When you ask the waitress how the crab cakes are made, you do not expect to have her tell you that she doesn't eat 'that stuff' because 'she is a picky eater'. We had drinks and left - you can't kill a bottled beer, but the wine had obviously been opened for more than a day or two and was very acidic. Too bad - there is a lot of potential going to waste.

I apologize our staff did not act in accordance to our standards when questioned about the menu. We will look into this matter to make sure this doesn't happen again. I apologize the wine did not meet your expectations as well. We have assessed the situation and have made appropriate changes to assure proper storage and serving of our wine. We hope that the rest of your vacation here on Jekyll Island was pleasant and that you will be back to our lovely island.

“Beautiful sunset and scenery, okay food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012 via mobile

The atmosphere is very casual and laid back, music is sub-par. The server was friendly and peppy. The sautéed shrimp was delicious, and the cole slaw is good. I found the garlic grits to be bland. The chicken breast is a strong mediocre, Mac n cheese was good.

“Nice place to eat!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

the view was nice. Clam chowder was VERY good! Bacon cheeseburger wasn't very good, Kids meal chicken strips was ok, kids meal pizza was not good at all (my daughter wouldn't even eat it). The low country boil was very good.... and i also think it's great they make it a option for the kids meal... my daughter loved it!!
If you are going to eat here go for the seafood! You won't be disappointed!
we would definatley visit again

“Great View”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012

Our trip to SeaJays was very nice. Our waitress barely checked on us but I charge that to her dealing with a large party. The atmosphere is not for everyone but the view is great. The low country boil was a little overpriced but the food was hot and tasted good, it's a good value overall. The live entertainment was very good and kept us entertained.

Thank you very much for the kind words. We also want to thank you for your understanding on the staff dealing with large groups. I apologize that there was not enough service on hand at that time and will look into staffing that time period accordingly in the future. We hope that SeaJay's will be a visit on your next stop to Jekyll Island. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve. Thank you again for your time and kind words.
