“Uniquely Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2014

Got engaged here last year :) It's a beautiful and unique place. Amazing place to take pictures! And when you finish up here head over to the Driftwood Bistro! Ate there twice on our trip!

“Unreal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

On our way home from Florida it was such a beautiful day that we decided to make a side trip to this beach on Jekyll Island. The island was quite deserted in February which we love. I don't think we ever imagined this beach to be so beautiful. Entire trees were scattered all over the beach. Aside from the lovely scenery, we saw quite a few kinds of ducks and shorebirds. We hope to go back and spend more time.

“a Strange and beautiful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

I always look forward to seeing Driftwood Beach. It is so different from any other place that I have been. The "driftwood" the size of full grown trees seems only possible in dreams, yet here you are walking among them. It is a photographers paradise.

“Haunting Beauty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

The beach is accessible within two hours of high tide- go then, before other combers arrive and interfere with your photography!

“Love this beach!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

We have always made it a point to visit this beach on our trips to Jekyll. The kids love climbing the big, fallen trees.
