We have been coming to Jekyll Island for over 15 years. This lovely, quiet, unpretentious, yet somehow "just perfect" dining experience is top notch. The food is absolutely wonderful..........everything is superb. I cannot say enough good things about
this "best of the best".........bar none.....anywhere. This is "real food" for those of us who live in the "real world".

Please, be sure to eat here.......you will never, ever be disappointed.

We have stayed at Villa's by the Sea before and the on site restaurant was not that great, but now it is GREAT!! The food was really good and the service was also great! The whole family loved it!

Jekyll Island is our regular hangout, and Driftwood Bistro has become our favorite place to eat.

Fish and grits has long been a southern favorite, and Driftwood was the first place we'd seen a shrimp and grits dish. A great combination!

We've never had a bad experience at Driftwood. From fried platters, to shrimp and grits, to seafood pasta, everything has been superb.

An appealing feature is that, if you order a glass of wine, you can buy the bottle (to take away) for less than the cost of a second glass.

Service has always been good, and the decor/atmosphere is a nice blend of beach and elegance. Driftwood is great for any occasion.

We discovered Driftwood by accident and what a great surprise. Reasonably priced and friendly waitfolk and manager. Driftwood carvings decorated walls and the food was very good...enough so we ate there almost every evening of our 7 day stay. The squash casserole is to die for, the grilled shrimp were large and tasty, and the lowland salad special was wonderful. We tried a couple other restraunts during the day and nothing measured up to Driftwood.
