“Very Good Value”

This is our second time staying at this Comfort Inn. As before, our room was clean, with good mattress, and quiet. The front desk staff was easy to work with. Our breakfast was good and the staff member in charge made sure we had what we needed.

This was the only hotel I could find in Jefferson, Georgia. The hotel front desk staff was pleasant and helpful on both entry and exit of the stay. The room was adequate and the AAA price was better than the on-line price. The only problem was there was a rag on the floor when I entered the room; otherwise the stay was average for a remote hotel.

I have to visit this area for business and my family decided to join me for the trip. We stayed here as it was near for the place I was visiting. We continued to stay there during weekend while visiting stone mountain and Atlanta aquarium.

It is nice and clean. Staff was friendly and good to deal with. There was smoking odor near our room and I ask desk clerk for that, He was happy to shift our room and made sure do not have any issues during our remaining stay.

For the price you pay and the bad night of sleep you have, it is worth investisting in a little more gas to drive to the next town over. The best part of this hotel is the staff. The hotel was very outdated, it smelled and was filthy. My kids opened th pullout sofa to find a sex pill wrapper. This tells me the room was not cleaned properly. The other sign was when we turned the.ceiling fan on and dust bunnys attacked us.

We wanted to like this place more, given what was obviously effort put forth by the older couple we believed to be the owners/innkeepers (live in a lovely house on site). Just a little tired and, unfortunately, patronized by a lot of smokers. Only two "Smoking" rooms on our floor but the odor was everywhere and also coming from one room designated for non-smokers. That said, our room was very clean with exceptional linens and a very nice bathroom. Night clerk was quirky but easily changed our room to first floor (no elevator) as it was very late and we just did not feel like schlepping stuff.
Parking was challenging as lot drops off steeply from the road and was a little tough for us with a pick-up and 24' trailer. There is a space designated for U-Hauls and we noted several utility vehicles, but maneuvering would have been impossible had other guests not departed by the time we left in the morning.
Breakfast was very nice with hot and cold foods, attended to with friendliness by innkeeper. Lobby area minimal but very clean; hallway carpets showing wear and only front doors are automatic. Smokers congregate right outside main entrance.
Access to highway and availability this night was what we needed, and this placed served us quite well. Would not hesitate to stay again if need be.

There was a smell problem of smoke because on that day our all smoking rooms were occupied. The very cold weather on that day also added to the cause.

I had business in this region twice recently, and both times stayed at the Comfort Inn in Jefferson because of its central location. Friendliness of staff varied wildly; the first time I checked in, the desk clerk didn't even stand up from the computer she was working at until she had to make my room key. Barely made eye contact, wasn't friendly. But other folks I came into contact with, especially cleaning staff, were very nice. Room is very standard, had a pretty good shower, a fine coffee maker, flat screen TV with HBO, comfortable bed, reliable climate control. Didn't have a desk; had to use the only table in the room as a desk and table. Room was clean, but there was a lot of trash in the bushes next to the parking lot which wasn't removed during either of my two trips. You can do a lot worse than this Comfort Inn...but you can also do a lot better - just not in Jefferson, Ga.

Management and staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean and the wi-fi worked well. It was quiet and easy to relax here. Facility included an enclosed pool for relaxing. This motel is close to the freeway, with a restaurant and several fast food establishments nearby.
