“Authentic and real good”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

My wife and I ate at Bodensee in mid March. We hade a great meal. This is tru authentic German food...as advertized. Alos reccomended buy our Hotel manager. Great beers on tap. I had the Mixed plate - all house made - smoked pork chop (slightly over cooked), bratwurst and garlic sausage with a delicous sourkraut. My wife had a huge smoked torut that she thought was one of the best trout dishes she has ever had. Melted in her mouth. We split the potato pancakes to start. All in all a real great meal and service.

“Place to go for authentic German cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

Recommended by several locals so went for lunch to try authentic German cuisine. Large portions - excellent and very filling. Ashley, the only waitress, handled things very well.
would definitely return!

“Outstanding German Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

We were really surprised when we heard our normal restraunt was receiving such bad reviews. We chose the Bodensee as an alternate dining place. Imagine our surprise when we found that the people who used to run our old favorite were now operating the Bodensee! The food was fabulous and authentic! Having lived in Germany for many years, we are generally skeptical about eating at "German" restraunts but this is the real deal! Friendly staff, great service and excellent menu.

“German schnitzel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

This was my first experience with German food. My husband and I shared the sampler plate. My favorite was the sausage and the fried pork chop. I would recommend just the German potatoe salad and the noodles as a side. It was more on the pricey side but it was worth the experience!
