I should first mention that the price of one night's stay is 32 dollars and ten cents. That being said, being in South Georgia, in the middle of nowhere, you would expect something slightly worse than awful. However, the Gator is actually very clean, very quiet (obviously), and even charming? Again, the room is 32 bucks, so there is some wear on the carpet, and in the bathroom, but it was all very clean - cleaner than rooms I've paid over 150 bucks for elsewhere.
The air conditioning was unbelievably cold - another plus. The location is, well, good, I guess. It is near the Swamp entrance, the gas station, and one restaurant in town. Actually, you could probably throw a rock and hit the gas station and restaurant from the parking lot of the motel.
The gator is great, not that anyone has a choice otherwise, but really, 32.10?? You can't pass that up. And you leave your money on the dresser when you leave!
