This place is a waste of time. Parking is horrible, you have to drive over rocks to get at the end at your small parking spot. You will be very close to the car at your side ( risk of scratch, dents,...).
Then they will charge you 6 dollars entrance fee. a Family of 4, will pay $24 to get in. Then they will charge you $7 for a bag that will hold 2-3 lbs. So if you have 2 kids , you will end up total of
$14 plus $24, that is $38 for less than 6lbs of apples. Pretty smart. The area where to pick the apples is very dirty, rotten apples under the trees, which attract mosquitoes and bees ....
I do not know if they spray something on the trees, but I picked some apple and there were some white powder there. Trees are not spaced and not trimmed, careful of branches getting in your kids eyes. the whole time you will spend picking apples is about 20 min, if that is the time to fill the 2-3 lbs bag.
they also charge parents for petting animals....this place is about money. they do not give you receipt if you pay cash. It happened that I did not put the green wrist bracelet at the entrance. So later when I wanted to take my kids to eat in the small market, I was refused to get in b/c I did not have wrist bracelet. I told him that I did not put it b/c I taught if my wife and 2 kids had one there was no need for me to put one. The guy did not believe me and he called the old lady who presented her self as the owner, I told her that my wife paid cash when we got in, and she said there is no proof that you paid, since you have no wrist band. I asked her if she can trust us , she said I do not trust anybody!, then it hit me , Trust is very good thing when you are doing business, If she does not trust her customers, why we should trust her in the quality of the product she is offering. She was greedy to think that I have not paid the entrance and that was why I did not have the wrist band.
