The lady at the front desk was friendly and I asked her if I could leave my car in the parking lot for the day (I was returning later that same day). She said I could but I would have to leave a parking pass in my car with my name, room #, and cell phone information. And this was after I filled out the same info inside the hotel. I thought this was very strange and potentially dangerous. The airport is not in a good section of town. The receptionist said that if I didn't have the pass displayed properly I would get my car towed or a boot placed on it. The room had a small kitchenette. No complaints there, but there were no utensils, plates, glasses, pots or pans at all. I've never stayed in a room that had a kitchenette that wasn't stocked with at least a saucepan and some silverware. What's the point of having a stove if you have to travel with your own saucepan? The bathtub wouldn't drain, the shower head was broken (there was barely any water coming out at all), and there was a huge gap where the shower nozzle met the wall. Of course, I was only staying one night and didn't notice this until the next morning when I was getting ready and checking out. Also, when I returned I waited over 1 hour for my shuttle and I had to call twice. The lady I spoke with didn't seem concerned that I had been waiting and pretty much just said "uh-huh" just to get me to shut up. I was on my way to the taxi line when the shuttle finally arrived. There was a customer in the shuttle that was so drunk that he could barely sit up straight and was harassing me and another female passenger. (you could smell the alcohol from a mile away). When I say harassing, I mean asking if we had drugs and wanted to party, where our boyfriends were, and what kinds of women turn him on. He was VERY explicit. The driver ignored us even after we told the drunk to leave us alone. When we arrived at the hotel it was after midnight and I didn't feel comfortable even walking into the hotel to complain and I called the next day and spoke with the manager. He seemed concerned and outraged that it happened but that the shuttle company was not affiliated with the hotel and could do nothing except pass the complaint along to the owner/operator of the shuttle company. He would not give me the name of said company when repeatedly asked. He said that a "Cynthia" would call me and would get the matter resolved. It's been over a week and no call from Cynthia. In my opinion, I've stayed at Motel 6's that were nicer, cleaner and cheaper.

This hotel is under NEW management as of Nov 1st 2009.
The new management has made many improvements including new bedding and bed linens, upgrades to our complimentary breakfast, a new shuttle service and overall better guest service.
