“Salty!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2012 via mobile

Told the waitress no salt .Ordered salmon with angel hair pasta . When it arrived the salmon was extremely salty, so I sent it back. Told the Manager that the pasta was fine . they got another dish and the salmon was still salty and they put the unsalted sauce on side! He explained that they marinate the salmon. would come back again though . The food would be good without the salt.

“Nice outdoor area, pretty restaurant, bread is good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

We've been to this restaurant about 4 times. Last week we ordered a glass of recommended 'daily special' wine which was noticeably from a bad bottle. I felt like our waiter or the bartender could have smelled it before serving, but our waiter was young. The manager or maitre'd came over, said 'you're right this glass is bad, I can smell it' and quickly took it away. My replacement glass was very good.
Their risottos and raviolis are good. I got a shrimp & orzo dish that was good but I would have liked more vegetables & less orzo. Bread is good. Portion size is fine to me, I'd much rather get a bit too much & choose to take it home than pay for an entree the size of an appetizer.
Our server Jordan was very nice, friendly & accommodating.

“Great Outdoor seating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2012

Brio is a lightly upscale Italian restaurant. The meals dishes are not as heavily influenced by tomato based sauces and pasta as many chain places. The service can be a bit erratic.
I personally think it's a bit overpriced.
However, they are located next to a large pond and have a very lovely patio overlooking it. The pond is home to a flock of ducks who have learned to walk (waddle?) up on the patio and beg for bread.
They have a decent weekend brunch menu and if the weather is good, it's a great place to bring the kids.
