“Nice homey place to stay with good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Stayed at the Staybridge Perimeter for business. Employees were friendly & helpful. Room was very clean & comfortable. Hot breakfast was nice, as was happy hour & lite dinner on weekday evenings. Hotel was close to businesses, also close to a nice mall and many restaurants - several restaurants within walking distance. Hotel offers a free shuttle within 3 miles, which was great for getting to the mall, etc. Shuttle drivers were very accomodating. Primarily business travelers were at the hotel - many people seemed to stay here quite often. Made for a lively group for happy hour.

I booked a room at this hotel because of all the positive reviews. It wasn't a bad experience, but it was just ok. The front desk staff was very nice. The room itself was clean, but the walls were very thin, and I had very noisy neighbors. It wasn't bad enough that I needed to move rooms, but it was annoying. Nice big screen TV in the room, and a full kitchen. The wifi was spotty. It worked most of the time, but sometimes, would just stop and you'd have to wait a few minutes before it would reconnect. I thought the breakfast was terrible. Sure, there were a variety of foods, but they were mostly inedible. They had some sore of "omelet" in a hot plate, which was egg substitute, folded over with chunks of some sort of cheese product inside. It was really bad. They also had a hot plate of ham cold cuts from a package that they heated up. Then, the typical wholesale club cinnamon rolls, muffins, and cereals. They did have a waffle maker which was nice. Next time, I'd just skip the free breakfast and visit the Panera that is right nearby. The area that the hotel is in was great, walking distance to restaurants and shops. It would be a great choice for those that need a full kitchen during their stay. Like I said, it wasn't terrible, just average, not as amazing as the reviews made it out to be.

Staybridge Suites Atlanta is a great place to stay for both business and pleasure travelers visiting Atlanta. The location is very accessible, rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. A very nice buffet breakfast completes the package.

Room Tip: I like to stay on the North side of the Hotel. There is a rear entrance, keyed to your room key whic...

The good -Decent location, clean room, convenient kitchen, great breakfast choices.
The not-so-good - needs new sheets, mattress updated. I would stay here again if they do make these updates. There is a nice shopping/business district nearby. We did miss the entrance, but it wasn't difficult to turn around. There seemed to be ample free parking.

We only stayed one night, but it was fantastic. The suite was spacious and clean, had a separate bedroom with doors. The hotel is either new or newly renovated, the decor was very nice and up-to-date. The staff was friendly and helpful, the check-in and check-out super-fast. The included breakfast was a cut above most hotels of this type. The location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and just off the interstate. The bed was very comfortable and, in spite of all the nearby amenities, far enough off the main road to be quiet at night. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Atlanta.

Love this hotel. Could not have been nicer. The hallways leading to the room are spacious and very neat and clean, The doors to the rooms are REAL DOORS..ie they look like a door to your house rather than everyday motel doors. I was in a one bedroom suite but unlike other suite hotels this truly is a suite, not a modified suite like so many. You enter the room and there is a lovely, completely and carefully appointed. kitchenette to the right..with a microwave, .two burner black top stove, coffee station, sink is next, overhead cabinets with dishware, glassware, coffee condiments etc and an eat in kitchen counter with bar stools. There is a spacious desk and a You have a full size sofa bed, nice television, two small coffee tables. and a DOOR leading into the bedroom making for two two very private areas. ie the kitchen/living room area and then the Bedroom area. The bedroom One has two WONDERFUL, comfortable beds, with great pillows a dresser, television, and then a vanity, with sink, mirror etc and a closet, Then the bathroom with a tub/shower combination with a rounded shower curtain. There are windows in both the bedroom and the Kitchen/living room areas and there are room darkening shades that really do block out the light for night time use and then there are sheers with drapes for daytime use. Very, very nice. Now let me tell you about the included breakfast... To die for!!! Many selections of both hot and cold foods and cereals. Registration folks were also quite nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again on trips to Atlanta and will look for this chain when I visit in other locations. Great experience. I would definitely recommend this to those looking for top value, and great service and clean rooms and helpful personnel. Awesome!!!!

My experience in the past with Staybridge Suites hotels has always been good and this location is no different. Located in the Perimeter/Dunwoody area in the Atlanta metro area, this hotel is in a quiet area, but close enough to shopping and restaurants. The Perimeter mall is less than a mile away and there are over 30 restaurants within a mile of this hotel.
The suites are roomy enough for a stay of one night, a week, or a month plus. The feeling you get is almost like being in an apartment. The full kitchen is also very nice for snacks or even cooking if you want... it is not one of those little kitchenettes with a dinky refrigerator and just a microwave.
The FREE laundry is a BIG PLUS!! Most places charge and it is really nice to be available to not have to look for or get quarters for the laundry... and you can do laundry 24/7.
The hotel itself is clean and gives you that warm, cozy, and welcome feeling upon entering.
The free breakfast buffet in the morning is a step above other hotels that only offer cereals, donuts, danish and fruit. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. During some nights during the week, they offer an evening reception with free limited food options and beverages.
My only two complaints about this hotel...
1. Parking, especially at night, can get tricky as all the spots near the front of the hotel fill up fast forcing you to park on the one side of it far away from your room or a door.
2. The location is quiet like I said, but it is also out of the way from restaurants or shopping forcing you to either have a car or using their shuttle van.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the elevator or you will be walking a long walk to your room down long hallways.
