“Overall a great stay.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

The good -Decent location, clean room, convenient kitchen, great breakfast choices.
The not-so-good - needs new sheets, mattress updated. I would stay here again if they do make these updates. There is a nice shopping/business district nearby. We did miss the entrance, but it wasn't difficult to turn around. There seemed to be ample free parking.

We only stayed one night, but it was fantastic. The suite was spacious and clean, had a separate bedroom with doors. The hotel is either new or newly renovated, the decor was very nice and up-to-date. The staff was friendly and helpful, the check-in and check-out super-fast. The included breakfast was a cut above most hotels of this type. The location is fantastic, with lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, and just off the interstate. The bed was very comfortable and, in spite of all the nearby amenities, far enough off the main road to be quiet at night. Will definitely stay here next time I'm in Atlanta.

Love this hotel. Could not have been nicer. The hallways leading to the room are spacious and very neat and clean, The doors to the rooms are REAL DOORS..ie they look like a door to your house rather than everyday motel doors. I was in a one bedroom suite but unlike other suite hotels this truly is a suite, not a modified suite like so many. You enter the room and there is a lovely, completely and carefully appointed. kitchenette to the right..with a microwave, .two burner black top stove, coffee station, sink is next, overhead cabinets with dishware, glassware, coffee condiments etc and an eat in kitchen counter with bar stools. There is a spacious desk and a You have a full size sofa bed, nice television, two small coffee tables. and a DOOR leading into the bedroom making for two two very private areas. ie the kitchen/living room area and then the Bedroom area. The bedroom One has two WONDERFUL, comfortable beds, with great pillows a dresser, television, and then a vanity, with sink, mirror etc and a closet, Then the bathroom with a tub/shower combination with a rounded shower curtain. There are windows in both the bedroom and the Kitchen/living room areas and there are room darkening shades that really do block out the light for night time use and then there are sheers with drapes for daytime use. Very, very nice. Now let me tell you about the included breakfast... To die for!!! Many selections of both hot and cold foods and cereals. Registration folks were also quite nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again on trips to Atlanta and will look for this chain when I visit in other locations. Great experience. I would definitely recommend this to those looking for top value, and great service and clean rooms and helpful personnel. Awesome!!!!

My experience in the past with Staybridge Suites hotels has always been good and this location is no different. Located in the Perimeter/Dunwoody area in the Atlanta metro area, this hotel is in a quiet area, but close enough to shopping and restaurants. The Perimeter mall is less than a mile away and there are over 30 restaurants within a mile of this hotel.
The suites are roomy enough for a stay of one night, a week, or a month plus. The feeling you get is almost like being in an apartment. The full kitchen is also very nice for snacks or even cooking if you want... it is not one of those little kitchenettes with a dinky refrigerator and just a microwave.
The FREE laundry is a BIG PLUS!! Most places charge and it is really nice to be available to not have to look for or get quarters for the laundry... and you can do laundry 24/7.
The hotel itself is clean and gives you that warm, cozy, and welcome feeling upon entering.
The free breakfast buffet in the morning is a step above other hotels that only offer cereals, donuts, danish and fruit. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby. During some nights during the week, they offer an evening reception with free limited food options and beverages.
My only two complaints about this hotel...
1. Parking, especially at night, can get tricky as all the spots near the front of the hotel fill up fast forcing you to park on the one side of it far away from your room or a door.
2. The location is quiet like I said, but it is also out of the way from restaurants or shopping forcing you to either have a car or using their shuttle van.

Room Tip: Ask for a room near the elevator or you will be walking a long walk to your room down long hallways.

We stayed here for a few nights in January and had a great experience. The room was clean and big (we had a two bedroom which was great!) The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great. I would definitely recommend. Additionally, the location is great.

I have stayed at this location so many times, I have lost count. Typically, I spend 3 to 4 months annually at this site as my corporate hq is very close. My experience has always been stellar, but this last time it hasn't measured up to par. They have new management, and it is certainly different than in past stays.

My room number ended in 19 (don't let them put you there) and it backs up to the elevator shaft. Each time an elevator goes up or down, it sounds like a disposal is in use. My room also overlooks the front entrance where smokers and loud patrons arrive at all times of the evening with little regard to other lodgers. You hear them arrive, go up the elevator and sometimes they land on your floor. Impossible to deal with.

Smokers need a different area to indulge, as you must walk through a cloud to enter and exit the building. This should be addressed as families with children frequent this property reguarly.

In past stays, I only had excellent reviews. This time around, it cannot rate the same, and I hope that in the future these measures will be addressed.

Room Tip: Do not face the front of the building due to noise.

We booked our room using my Priority Club points. When we arrived, they had no record of our reservation. Fortunately, I had printed a copy of the confirmation email, as I had booked it through the 800#. The front desk girl was extremely nice. She kept saying she needed to speak w/ her manager and went in the back (closing the door each time) about 10 different times to get it cleared up. Not once did the manager come out and apologize for what was happening. The poor girl ended up having to do a brand new reservation and I had to remind her that the points had already been subtracted from my account and she said she would be sure to let her manager know. In all, it took us 40 minutes to check in, which I don't think is an acceptable amount of time....and we NEVER saw the manager.

The hotel itself is in a great area w/ access to lots of great shopping and restaurants. The hotel is clean and our room was wonderful! The evening reception serving a light dinner was nice and the breakfast was perfect! We would probably return here again. I just think the manager needs a lesson in customer service and ICHotels needs to get a better system in place for redeeming/booking Priority Club point nights.
