Not a bad hotel, convenient to lots but these are NOT actual suites, they are SMALL motel rooms with a sofa and a fridge and that is it! Internet does not allow access to company VPN.

I decided to stay here because of some of the previous reviews of this hotel. The front desk staff was awesome especially Esteban. This is definately a hidden gem. The hotel was fairly empty which was a bonus for our stay. The suite was roomy and comfortable. The hotel is also very close to shopping. I would surely stay again.

We got a great rate staying here and we travel alot for business. The guys at the front desk recommended two wonderful restaurant to eat. They have cookies every night and welcome appetizers and beverages on Wednesdays. We will stay here again when we're in the Atlanta area.

I began visiting this Hotel a few years back and as far as I am concerned its the very best Hotel for the price and especially its hospitality. One should stop by and see the Mgr. Katherine Greenwood and her colleques and you will understand what I mean. Her crew understands the needs of people who travel alot and they make you feel at home. I have frequented the Mgrs reception on Wednesdays with good food and good conversation. I have always had a good visit at this Hotel and just wanted others to know. I did a surprise weekend to Georgia for my two boys. We were celebrating their birthdays and decided to take them to Stone Mountain. We got to the hotel around 5:00 PM and went to check in. We decided to pay cash for the room and they wanted to charge us a deposit for that. We got that worked out. We got to our room (226) and it smelled very musty. We thought about changing rooms but didn't want to go through the run arounds. The room was neat and clean. My son had an accident in the bed and we reported it to the hotel staff; they wanted to charge a fee for cleaning the room. After the room had been cleaned, there was still a musty smell and the bathroom had some green stuff behind the toilet. In looking at the hotels interior, I understood why the room may have smelled like it did. This hotel needs to be remodeled badly. There were water spots in the ceiling, ceiling tiles broken, the walls were plastered in certain places among other things. I would not advise anyone to stay at this hotel.

  • Liked — The hotel was in a convenient place.
  • Disliked — The hotel is in need of renovations and updates.

Stayed here for two nights for a weekend visit to Stone Moutain and Comfort Suites met our expectations. We stayed here two years ago and felt like this place for the price was well worth another stay. We wanted a indoor pool with a continental breakfast. Not too many hotels in the area have the amenities they have for the price they offer. The room has a fridge and microwave which is nice for bringing your own drinks and food. A Publix is right around the corner and there a several reasonable gas stations nearby as well. The beds are very comfortable and hardly any noise or no noise at all when we hit the sack. Plenty of nice towels in the bathroom and service and front desk people are all nice. The swimming pool was never crowded or used at all when we visited it in the mornings. The gym was expanded since our last visit with a few more machines. The only drawback is the continental breakfast nook is way too small for the crowds that come in the mornings. The set up has you climbing over eachother. The staff works hard to restock but it seems like there is never enough with the crowds. There is a good selection of muffins, bagels, cereal, and they have a meat and some hard boilded eggs along with the waffles. But it is a chore to have to wait or go back and forth to get everything you want. No problems with parking and they have the standard ice machines that use the ice buckets. The pillows in the room are comfortable as well. If we are visiting friends or exploring Atlanta we really like this hotel.

  • Liked — indoor swimming pool, location, price
  • Disliked — breakfast area too small

The sign says pardon the dust while they improve. Property is a little worn, but in a very nice, convenient area with many hotels. Pool was not working. Room was very large, well designed standard Comfort Suites type. Needed some patch work and paint, window work, and general maintenance. Staff was helpful offering a local map and directions. Breakfast was very well done.

This could be a really nice place with a little elbow grease. Lets hope they follow through with the promise. Still, I was very pleased with the place.
