By the reviews, we really expected a little more than what we got from this Hampton Inn. It was not the easiest hotel to find at night. I will agree that the hotel was very clean and nice looking and the hotel staff was fairly accommodating. We did encounter a few problems such as a missing smoke detector in the room that had wires hanging from the wall, a toilet that leaked, bathroom faucets that were a little loose, and they never could program 2 keys that worked to our room. One never did work no matter how many times they reprogrammed it, and the other worked most of the time. The biggest disappointment was that it was probably the noisiest hotel we ever stayed in. You could clearly hear people in the adjacent rooms, in the hallways and loud cars driving through the parking lot. So while the bed was comfortable, it was hard to sleep through the night. Breakfast was the usually Hampton Inn fare, but I soon found out that it was impossible to cook oatmeal in the bowls provided using the microwaves programmed to cook prepackaged "hot" meals only. So, I struggled to understand why that was on the breakfast bar when I was told there was no microwave that could cook it. I doubt we will be visiting this particular area again but, if so, we will be checking out one of the other hotels in the area.

This hotel is above any of the other Hamptons we have visited. The suite was perfect. CLEAN and very comfortable. All of the staff goes that one step over and above what you would expect.......very courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and hot. The lobby is so comfortable with a fireplace and all. We couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience. My only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer.
We have just started to stay in the Hampton chain hotels during this vacation. I had almost given up traveling after being subjected to the dirty rooms and uncaring staff in the hotels where we had stayed. A friend suggested we stay at Hamptons as they do.
I am so glad I took that suggestion. We have not had one complaint with the more than half dozen we have stayed at.

Had to stop for the night during a long "road trip". This is the best off-the-interstate hotel we have every stayed at! Immaculately clean, well maintained and central to every restaurant chain you can think of! We even had time for a quick swim in their very nice pool. We had a coupon from one of the travel guides which gave us the room for less than the AAA rate. Next time we travel in this direction we will definitely stay here again.
