“Nice hotel. Great value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2009

Great price on the room. Room was a little small, but very comfortable and clean. Staff was GREAT! Good breakfast that included hot food. Would not hesitate to stay again. Only complaint at all was the parking is limited, but that really isn't a big deal.

This hotel is an Opportunity hotel so this is a lower level Hampton.
Advantages: Beds were comfortable, Air Conditioner worked good, shower good, clean, close to Six Flags and cheaper than Hampton at Six Flags, Located next to mall and many restaurants.
Disadvantages: Small parking lot, saw one bug, sheets stained, tv would get fuzzy picture and make high pitched noise.

To be honest, I probably wouldn’t have stayed at this hotel if it hadn’t been for the positive reviews I read on tripadvisor.com. I’m glad I can add to those, confirming that I too had a good experience. We were given two adjoining rooms as we had requested. Our room faced away from the Interstate, and was very quiet. All of the staff we met were very efficient when necessary, and friendly when appropriate. They had warm cookies in the evening, which we found enjoyable, and each room had a bottle of water and bag of potato chips (probably because of my frequent stays with the Hilton chain). The rooms were pretty standard for Hampton Inn, each with two beds and a small table with chairs. The bathrooms seemed unusually large. The rooms were clean and furnishings were generally in good working order. There were a few stains on the bathtub and some of the baseboard tiling was a little grimy, and the halls were definitely showing some wear, but this was certainly expected in an “Opportunity” level hotel. The wireless internet access was free and worked fine. The free breakfast selection was good, and the food was tasty. Overall I was very happy with the Hampton Inn and would definitely stay there again.

I have stayed twice at this hotel this month. Location is excellent....across street from large, very nice enclosed shopping mall, many fine restaurants are within walking distance, (2 blocks or less). This hotel is bult on much too small property. Parking is extremely inconvenient. Parking lot is not adjacent to actual building, as is in most all cases, but all parking is in a very very long narrow space (only 2 rows wide) in front. You can only enter through the lobby....a major task if you have a lot of luggage and park at furtherst point from building. Staff was very friendly, room was nicely furnished and very clean, complimentary breakfast was very good with large selection of food items. Noise can be a problem if your room is facing street....building is only a few feet away from a busy 4 lane street....ask for room on back side at check in. In spite of shortcomings, I would stay again and recommend because of location and friendly staff.

This hotel was available for a very low price using the HHonors points - so we booked it.

The hotel feels old, the walls are crumbling at places and the furniture, bedding, bathroom etc are all old (though upgraded to Hampton Inn standards). The breakfast was ordinary. What scores for the hotel is its location. A 'Rooms to go' showroom is right across the street and behind that is the Arbor place mall with all kinds of shops and restaurants. Its about 20 miles to the west of downtown Atlanta and provides a perfect jumping off point to go there after a night of relaxation.

Very clean. Large bathroom. 3 regular pillows plus a neck pillow on each bed. Great morning breakfast buffet that was always well stocked and the staff came around frequently to pick up dirty plates. Breakfast area was large with lots of windows. 24 hour coffee available. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. 2 blocks from large shopping mall. MANY restaurants within walking distance or short drive from hotel. Easy access to I-20. Great place to stay and would definitely stay here again.

This Hampton is typical of the chain with decent rooms and an adequate breakfast. Our room was was clean and the property was reasonably well maintained in most areas. The morning breakfast was well maintained and the breakfast area was one of the largest I've seen at a Hampton. The comforter on our bed looked like a cheap down comforter that had seen better days. The stuffing had clumped into big lumps with alternating large empty spaces in a checkerboard pattern. The landscaping was in terrible shape with most of the shrubs cut to the ground and nothing but bare dirt showing around the perimeter of the building. There were some signs of wear here and there that could easily be remedied with a little effort. The lobby was nice and the employees were pleasant. Since the hotel is right next to the interstate we requested a room on the opposite side hoping to avoid the road noise from the interstate. Turns out the road opposite the interstate serving the mall and other shopping in the area is very busy with the occasional loud motorcycle or other vehicle. The a/c in the room was quiet and worked well and the room was very cool when we first arrived so no waiting for the room to cool off. We would probably try something else in the area next time instead of the Hampton Inn.
