“great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2014

Very clean rooms and the friendliest staff. Manager goes out of his way to make your stay comfortable. Recommend this hotel to any traveler I used the laundry facility and my clothes were not dry before I had a meeting to attend. Staff finished my laundry and put the clothes in my room. Now that is customer service

Room Tip: hotel is in a great location and off the main road so highway noise doesn't bother you.

Definitely the best Econo Lodge I've stayed at. It looks fairly new and much more up to date than some of the others I've stayed at. What's surprising is I payed less here than at manny other places that were not as nice. Well lit and nicely kept. Internet was supper fast even on wireless.

Bugs, lint and hairs on the bed sheets at check-in. Changed rooms, but no non-smoking kings left. Hung off the bed in a queen. Mattresses thin and lumpy, but good pillows. Miserable, tiny bath towels. Two in a room for two people. Three in a room with two queens. Light bulbs out, TV converter box hanging off in space. Broken outlet covers. A/C vent blew the curtains half-way to the ceiling. Had to tie shoes to curtains to weight them enough to mostly block the parking lot light shining into the room. Lots of scars holes in the walls. Rug stained and rippled. Hairdryer wouldn't stay in its cracked holder. Bathroom switch-plate filthy. One-quarter roll of toilet paper with no refills in the room at check-in. No wi-fi signal in room. Desk staff friendly, and seemed embarrassed to be working there. Never again.

Room Tip: Look at some other hotel. Any other hotel.

Do not stay at this hotel! I was greeted by a man who constantly complained and cursed at the front desk. Nothing worked right for him. The overall hotel was very dirty. My jets didn't work in my jacuzzi. The walls were dirty. I had a large hole in my comforter. This is the first time in years I have seen a tube TV in a hotel. I asked where the exercise room was and after appearing put out the person said he could unlock for me when I wanted to use it. He wanted to keep dogs, cats, and people from the street out of the room.... I have never heard an excuse like that at a hotel. The WiFi was so bad I had to turn it off. The continental breakfast OK but the only protein was a bowl of boiled eggs on ice. Let me repeat... DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

Stayed at this nice hotel and was on town for a few days. When I checked in, I was quickly given the keys to my room and the staff was very helpful. They even asked if I wanted extra pillows or towels which I never get asked. The room itself was clean and quiet. The breakfast the next morning was also great and best of all it was FREE!

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

We had an unfortunate experience during our stay in December 2013. Immediately upon arriving in our room a small cockroach ran across the counter at the coffeemaker. Minutes later another one was in the bathroom sink, and then yet another on the bathroom counter. We debated requesting another room, but then stayed due to the late hour. That was a mistake. When the room seemed a little cold, we opened the control panel on the heat/ac unit and a large roach ran for cover. The management showed concern and gave a token discount, but the experience ruined what otherwise was could have been an acceptable visit. Not recommended.

Room Tip: Insist on a money back guarantee against insect infestation.

Where to begin? The clerk couldn't have cared less or looked more imposed upon when we checked in. We had requested a room near the elevator. Instead, in a nearly empty hotel, we were shuttled to the end of a long hallway. Inside, the room, we found a broken mirror door on the closet and broken tile in the bathroom. The clerk reluctantly (she was on the phone, on a personal call) gave us another room key. But, that room was dirty and had a strange odor. So, we stayed in the first room offered. We stayed 2 nights ($42/night + taxes). Would not stay there again.

Room Tip: Next exit down on I-20 (exit 36) has a good cluster of chain restaurants.
