My wife and I live a short distance from Dillard Georgia and travel through it at least twice yearly on our way to the mountians of North Georgia and North Carolina, usually in Feburary and October. For many years it has been our custom to stop at the Cupboard Cafe for a meal, either breakfast or lunch. And for many years we it enjoyed it and even looked forward to it. But something has changed. In February 2012 as we traveled and stopped the food was just not good. Well, I am always willing to give every resturant another chance. Maybe just an abberation. Well today we stopped for lunch on the way to the mountians and the food was just in a word - bad.Cold vegatables, very tough country steak. Did we send it back? No. I never let food out of my sight after being served for obvious reasons.. I tried to bring it to the managers attention but was told the manager, Joey I think, was not available at the time but my concerns would be passed along. We will have to find another stop and for that I am sorry.
