Me and my husband arrived at Ted's about 3:20 PM on Saturday afternoon. There wasn't really a lot going on. We stood at the door and waited for approximately 4 minutes before anyone noticed that we were alive. We were seated in a dimly lit booth. It was very nice and I expect it would be really romantic in the evenings. Our waiter, Arthur, arrived immediately and told us the specials of the day. He also says that they grind their own meat 3 times per day. We started out with an order of onion rings (4.99) which were out of this world. They were thick and juicy, not at all greasy and served with a lite horseradish sauce. The sweet tea was excellent and Arthur was attentive to our emptying glasses. There are many things to choose from on the menu. We both knew we wanted to try the bison burgers. There are only about 20 varieties to choose from. I got the Americas Cup sandwhich (10.99). It comes with sauteed onions and mushrooms, cheddar cheese and bacon. My husband got the C.O.B burger (10.49). That is cheese, onion and bacon. When the burgers came out they were steaming hot and served with fries. Ketchup, mustard and hot sauces are on the table but they will bring you out some mayo if you'd like. The burgers had to be at least 10 ounces. I could only eat half of mine. I took the rest out in a doggie bag for my little Jasper. He enjoyed it too. Ted's Montana Grill is a very exciting place to eat. Not just bcause of the food but because of the effort put forth in protecting the environment. They use recycled paper for the menus and also recycled glasses. Check it out!!
