“Good halaal food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2014

The food and service is great here.I took my wife here for lunch & she loved it.Her nose couldnt stop running from the spicy hyderabadi mutton biryani.& I think it's the only indian restsurant on this side of the loop with halal meat& that was a plus. We will be back.

“Pretty good food but a little spicy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2014

We were in town for business and looking for a new Indian restaurant to try for dinner and found this one in nearby Decatur. It wasn't very busy when we got there but that changed soon. They must do a great take out business because while we waited for our food we saw tons of folks coming in to pick up their food. We tried several things, chicken tikka masala, naan, mutton biryani, and chicken karahi. All were very spicy but I enjoyed the chicken tikka masala and the meat was very tender. We will come again next time we are in town. Perhaps next time for lunch.

“Best Biryani and Kulfi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2014

We were to Atlanta for a weekend trip and we had 3 consecutive dinner, lunch and dinner from the same place. We are a big biryani lovers coming from Hyderabad and the biryani here is very good. The quantity of the biryani is very less compared to what we get in any restaurant in US or in India but the price of the biryani is also less. You get delicious food for a low price and quantities are appropriate to the price being charged. We ordered a lot of food but it does not burn a hole in your pocket. There was a huge rush every time we were there. The service is fast though. The ambiance is way on the lower side as they have huge take out orders. If you want delicious food but doesn't care about ambiance Zyka is the place. The chicken 65 is not to our liking but the biryani, kulfi (earthern pot), are amazing. the tandoori chicken was so tender and properly cooked, we are delighted and visited 3 times in 2 days.

“Delicious and Filling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

When I went to Zyka for lunch I was ravenous.Definitely a really awesome experience. Good prices for the portions and easy to share with friends and family. It is definitely authentic Indian, so be prepared for your mouth to burst into glorious, heavenly flames. Though it is a self service restaurant, it can get really busy so better to come during non-peak hours of the day or carryout!

It is an anomaly amongst few Indian restaurants, because the food is served using disposable plates, glasses and spoons & forks. The paper/styrofoam serving containers are kind of off-putting when you dine in; but for takeout, this place rules. The food is fabulous and I can't seem to find these intense flavors at most other Indian restaurants than I always get here. You will leave in a state of bliss after having their Excellent Biryani and zabardastttt Rabdi (sweetened thickened milk dessert).

Just beware...restaurant remains closed on Mondays.
