Selected this restaurant from a list sent to us by our daughter, who lives in Atlanta. The Spanish themed menu was a natural in anticipation of our trip to Spain and Portugal this coming summer. Before I get to the good, I'll point out the not so good. First, the noise level in this restaurant is deafening, to the point where even trying to understand your server becomes impossible. It would help if they would just stop with the loud, pulsating music in the background. Second, the beverage service was not the best, with my pre-dinner cocktail (one of their supposed specialty drinks) took 15 minutes to arrive and my second glass of wine later on had to be requested three times. Now the good. The food is awesome and we sampled a lot of it. We had the manchego, drunken goat cheese and Lomo Iberico de Bellota sampler, the bacon wrapped dates, the veal shank ravioli, the patatas al Valdeon, the croquettas carne, the pulpo a la Parilla and the hueva con trufa (check their menu online for the ingredients), along with the churros and gelatos for dessert. Although the drink service was spotty, the drinks themselves were very good, especially the Beronia Reserva tempranillo blend I selected. Everything we ordered was spot on. This is one of the best places I've been to in recent memory. Don't know when we'll be getting back to Atlanta, but when we do this place will most definitely get a return visit.
