I stayed one night here and regretted it. THe hotel is worn out and smells a bit like moth balls. The front desk lady was pretty good, but I didnt have a lot of confidence in the cleanliness of this hotel, certainly not as well kept and maintained as other Quality Inns Ive been to. Oh, it was a non smoking room I had but several note-worthy cig burns in the duvet and the comforter. A light was out and the tv old. THe common areas were in shabby condition and a renovation is definitely necessary. Room walls were poor, plenty of noise from adjacent rooms to add to the ambience. Oh, Id suggest avoiding Darien all together and to to Brunswick. Why? The Ruby TUesday had no beer on tap, the line at Wendys was ridiculous and not moving, and burger king had no ketchup. That is about the extent of the dining options near the hotel.

Our non-smoking room had cigarette burns on the spread, sink, and tub. When my husband used the toilet, the underside of the seat was filthy. The sink faucet looked like it had never been cleaned. The manager was called - he showed up with a spray bottle and a cloth, asked what the problem was (rudely), cleaned the toilet and said, it's clean now - and left. No apology, no nothing. Also, the TV remote didn't work and had to be reprogrammed. The only decent thing was the front desk person. She needs to get a job somewhere else. I could go on and on - very badly maintained - carpet pulling away from the walls, bad paint job, no threshold on the room door, etc. Very high on the ICK! factor.

Front desk clerk was very helpful and staff was extremely friendly! Great value and the breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a convenient stop off I-95. Located right next to the outlet malls and tons of resturanta and fast food!!!

I had made an advance purchase reservation, so they knew we were coming, but when we got there the air conditioner in the room was not on, resulting in a hot, stuffy room. This was in July in South Georgia and the outside temperature was in the 90's. It felt even hotter in the room! I felt like since they knew we were coming they should have turned on the AC earlier in the day.
