“Excellent Property!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

This property is top-notch all the way! It is clean, newly remodeled, has brand new linens, bed sheets, and bed spreads, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Jonie B. checked us in the night of April 24 and she is A-1: cheerful, friendly, helpful and a pleasant person to greet weary travelers. She explained when fresh cookies would be available, along with the times for the "nacho bar" (all important amenities for travelers)!! Would highly recommend this property if you're traveling along I-95. It's rare to find such a clean property with folks at the front desk and management who actually CARE about the guests' comfort and well-being.

We have been staying at this motel on our trips back and forth between Florida and PA since it was built. We find it to be the best motel along our route. It has always been clean and less expensive but the management has just changed and it is now even better. Tess was extra friendly and helpful and it was a joy to talk with her. The breakfast is everything anyone could want. We just stayed there on April 23, 2013 and will look forward to staying there this coming October. Bruce

With this being one of the least expensive hotels in the city, I expected a clean, comfortable bed and not much else. I was happily surprised by the many extras such as an extra large room. The bath and sink area was completely separate providing more privacy. Between the bed area and bath area is a kitchenette which was a huge bonus. There is even a stove top which is rare. Provided in room were snacks available for purchase like in more upscale establishments. The breakfast was plentiful and contained hot items. The best part of all was the warm, cheerful greeting of the host when we arrived. It felt more like we were checking into a bed a breakfast inn. When we came back from dinner he must have seen us drive up and park because he was there opening the door for us when we reached it. It was a very nice experience and, of course, the bed was clean and comfortable.

Room Tip: This hotel does not appear to have it's own drive way so you have to enter into the driveway of...

Excellent caring and service, especially from desk clerk Jonnie B.
The room was fine and especially well-equiped, but the food area needs lighting to make it more useful. As with most hotels, more accessible electrical sockets would be good for using and recharging electronic devices. I would have appreciated more accessible parking since I have difficulty walking and dealing with my luggage.

Stayed there one stopover night on a long trip. The front desk staff was super friendly, it's not he most recent construction, but we can see that a clear effort is done to make everything shipshape.
They have a nice breakfast buffet, they say continental breakfast, but there are a few hot items there.

We are proud to say that we are an ultra clean hotel as well as 100% smoke-free even though we are a pet friendly hotel. Along with the free breakfast we make sure all employees treat each guest with the best southern hospitality. We were greeted by an extremely friendly clerk when we arrived, check in was a breeze and were offered some Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. The rooms are newly renovated, clean and quite spacious all for about 50 bucks a night which I booked through hotels, com so it was a bit cheaper than their quoted price which was only about $8 more. They have a small gym, free breakfast, 32 inch flatscreens and a few other amenities that made our stay quite enjoyable. Whenever we are traveling through that area again we will definitely stay here again. Walter M

Glad to hear you were quite surprised at our hotel, ie all the extra items. We are very please with the recent change in management so we are able to offer more items to our guest for less. Next time you are in the area stop on in and relax with us for a great night at a low rate.
