My husband and I stayed at this property on our way back to Indianapolis. I had read good reviews and they were all true. The rooms were clean and very pleasant. I did not mind the fact that the doors were on the outside. The area was well lit and seemed very safe.
The outlet was a nice place to get some exercise before returning to the road. he only minor problem was the lobby doors are locked after 8:00 p.m. and I had trouble getting someone to let me in.

We are staying at this hotel in December on our way South again.

My husband and I stayed for just one afternoon and evening as a rest from our travel back to Tampa from the Midwest. It was a terrific choice!! After several hours in the car it was a perfect half way point located right off Interstate 75. The hotel was situated within walking distance of a small, quaint outlet mall and restaurants to fit every taste. The Hampton inn was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. They have a pool, hot tub and a fitness center. The rooms were cozy, clean and of course the bed was very comfortable. The room had more amenities than we really even needed for just the one night but still the price was reasonable. In the morning they offered a terrific breakfast with a variety of choices. We will most definitely remember this Hampton Inn next time we are in the area!!!

I was planning a few days in North Georgia apple country in October but because of a big festival going on up there, no rooms were available in Ellijay or Blue Ridge. I found this place in Dalton and knew that Hampton has very comfortable beds. so I booked it. It was raining, so after arriving I went to the little mall close to the motel. There is a chocolate shop, discount book store, Harley Davidson shop, clothing shops within walking distance of the Hampton. The only difference I found in this Hampton and so many others I've stayed in is the room doors are on the outside. I did not feel quite as secure at this location because of this. The building is older and not as modern. Otherwise, it is fine. The location is good - right on the interstate. There is a little restaurant in this town that is just great called the Oakwood Cafe. It was a little hard for me to find, even with a map but well worth the looking. If you like great home cooking in a friendly atmosphere, this is your place. I would go back to Dalton and stay at the Hampton there again. After reading all the reviews of other places in Dalton to stay, I think I made the right choice.

I was here on business but was very hesitant on booking this hotel because the room doors are on the outside of the hotel. A colleague of mine stayed in this same hotel recently and didn't recommend it but the stay has been wonderful. This hotel is clean, and secure. It is located right off the freeway and is across the street from a strip mall loaded with stores for everyone. The hotel gives you coupon book with discounts so that you can shop at the mall. Dalton is the carpet capital of the world, so if you are looking for carpet, flooring or tiling, this is the place. You will pay half of what you would pay at home. Around the corner from the hotel, the Walnut street is loaded with restaurants from chinese to american to mexican. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay here again.
