At first we were confused by the Piazza/Porter House hybrid menus for lunch, but it ended up working out fine. Walk in to smiling faces, adorable atmosphere. Order food, bread comes. It's simple as swatting a fly. We did the "southern bell wave" during our entire lunch. The food was pretty good, but I wish I had gone with pizza. My parents ordered from the Porter House menu and were also pleased. I have to say the flies were a deal-breaker. The poor, incredibly sweet hostess and waitresses were embarrassed. My mother said she heard the manager telling the wait staff "They don't have to eat here if they don't like it" believe was about another customer. I wish I could say the problem could have been overlooked, but it literally made me sick to my stomach.
I work at a hotel and will not be recommending Piazza until the unsanitary fly issue is resolved.
