“Great Italian in Covington!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

Great Italian food in a great atmosphere. A little off the beaten path, but so worth it. I had the mushroom raviolis accompanied by perfectly-grilled asparagus spears. Would definitely go again. Goat cheese or gorgonzola (instead of shredded Cheddar!) on the salad would have made this a perfect Italian meal.

“Hidden Gem in Small Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

We came to Covington for the Covington Century Bike Ride (pedal-bikes) and needed to carb up for the ride the night before. We found this place on TripAdvisor and are happy, once again, to have referred to this site. We had just returned from Italy where we had authentic Italian so I was somewhat skeptical this place would deliver in a small town. However, pleased to report the food was very good and the wine as well. Good service and charming atmosphere. Small place, elegantly appointed. We had the stuffed mushrooms for starters; the lasagne, hangar steak with penne, and Pasta Milazzo for dinner. All very good. The only thing I didn't like was the bread; plain and lacking flavor. Highly recommended especially in this small town. Hard to find and off the beaten track but well worth the hunt.

“Great food, but....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013

The food at this place is very, very good, but it was disappointing to hear that many of the items we wanted to order were either not available or had been dropped from the menu (even though they were still listed).
Outside of that, recommended...

“Totally pleased”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

We parked in the lot which is just steps around the corner- no problem. Everything about our meal on Thursday night was perfect. Seating great because we wanted one of the high tops, our waiter was spot on, bread hot and drinks brought promptly. We tried a Chardonnay that was new to us- we liked it and it was a "good pour." Andrew's knowledge of Scotch put me onto a new favorite (or 2) and my husband said his martini was just right, and he is a picky martini man. The food? Superb. Caprese salad, chef salad, crab cake appetizer and my husband had crab cake entree served with mashed potatoes that aren't your Mama's plain old mashed, and asparagus. The crab cakes were - totally crab! Very little filler and remoulade to top. Key lime pie to finish a delightful dining experience. Oh, and it was Motown night on the XM which was a treat. Well done you two!
