As a Columbus Local, Country's Barbecue has consistently been my favorite restaurant since its opening in 1975. It is well-known for its BBQ beef, pork, & chicken but they also serve buttermilk fried chicken, ham, with lots of country fixings, the absolute BEST sweet tea & more---all in large servings. Also, they have delicious homemade ranch dressing for your salad which may be purchased by the pint to take home. There are three locations in Columbus. The one on Mercury Dr. is "themed" as an old country store, the Broadway one is in an old Greyhound Bus Station complete with old bus that can be dined in, and the Main Street Village one is decorated as a ski lodge. I recommend the original location for the best BBQ Pit taste.
