The management of this hotel was flat out rude. I cannot believe how they think they can simply ignore people and not respond to calls or concerns. I will never stay here again. AVOID THIS HOTEL.

After reading a terrible review on a hotel that we had booked prior to heading off to Columbus, I decided to take a peak on Trip Advisor, and was pleased to find the Microtel, which had better reviews, and was a cheaper rate.

I was heading to Columbus to see my cousin graduate from OCS from the Army at Ft. Benning. It was nice arriving at a hotel that was newer, yet not over the top.

It had a wonderful fresh smell to the lobby, with its bright colors, and excentric furniture. The one thing that was bad about this hotel was the time it took to get checked in....nearly 30 minutes. (Wouldn't reccomend arriving around 3:00 p.m......Shift change).

We got to our room, which was very bright, with lime green walls. The room was clean, and had the necessary things that a hotel of that size should have. The beds were neatly made, and there were fresh towels in the bathroom. All was well, until I realized that the walls are paper thin, and you can hear your neighbors as if they are in the room with you. This was hard to accept the first night, as it made for falling asleep quite hard.

All in all I would reccomend this hotel for people who want a cheap stay while in Columbus. The "continental breakfast" is VERY limited, but there is something. It is close to the highway and just a short drive to Ft. Benning.

This hotel is so awesome!!! I was looking for an affordable hotel in a decent part of town for me and my family to stay to visit my husband for his graduation from Fort Benning. This hotel had no reviews yet so I was a bit weary. Well, once I left I promised them I would write a review for them. This is a brand new hotel so when we went they had no restaurant and room service yet. We did not mind at all. The staff was friendly and amazing. The room was immaculate and was so different from other hotels. Not your standard decorating skills and every other hotel, it is beautiful and refreshing!!! The refridgerator wasnt tiny like you would expect but a decent size. Stay here, you won't regret it!!! This hotel by far exceeded all my standards and I was complimented by my in-laws for making all the arrangements. They travel a lot and were impressed with the hotel very much and so they were impressed with me!!!

We stayed here for my son's weekend pass from Fort Benning and couldn't have asked for more. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. All of the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The drive to Benning was about 10 minutes straight down 185.

The hotel is pretty new and it still smells like new construction. The continental breakfast was probably the only disappointing thing, but for the price it was easy enough to stop at the gas station next door and grab something.

We would definitely stay again.
