We stayed here for my son's weekend pass from Fort Benning and couldn't have asked for more. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. All of the staff we had contact with were friendly and helpful. The drive to Benning was about 10 minutes straight down 185.

The hotel is pretty new and it still smells like new construction. The continental breakfast was probably the only disappointing thing, but for the price it was easy enough to stop at the gas station next door and grab something.

We would definitely stay again.

I stayed there back in August. The staff was very nice, great beds. The only problem I had is there internet was not working when I was there one of the reasons I stayed there.

Once again, I had a wonderful stay and a disappointing stay during the same long weekend - ironically, this time, at the same hotel chain, Micro-Tel.

I arrived late very late in the night, by myself; the front desk person and the manager (I think his dad is the owner) were friendly and immediately put me at ease.

The bedding was wonderful and crispy clean - I couldn't ask for more, considering the price.

FYI, I learned that they follow a water conservation practice, which evidently most hotels now follow. Thus, the bedding only gets re-made, not changed, nightly. Although I didn't ask, this made me curious as to how hotels in general know FOR SURE when people are staying, and when they are checking out.

The newly built Microtel Columbus has the best mattress in the world, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the owners were very, very friendly. I would drive 50 miles out of my way to stay at this hotel, again. I had a hard time convincing my wife and four kids to get out of bed.
