We occasionally come here when we get tired of the mass market pizza so convenient these days. I know this is a chain, but it feels like a home town restaurant.
We tried the the portobella mushroom appetizer and it was really quite good and better than we expected. It was served with melted cheese on a be of greens.
Each time we come we try a different pizza. We get the large and always take home half or more. The crust on their pizza is always so darn good, fluffy yet chewy and crusted with powdered cheese. When this hand made wonder comes to the table you just have to admire how good it looks. I tastes even better.
One thing I do want to say is that the service was really good. Nothing fancy, just good. I was worried they would bring out our appetizer at the same time as our pizza, a common tradition here at other Columbus restaurants. But no! Once we were done with our appetizer, the pizza came, hot and steaming.
The drinks and beer are also good, even better here now that Columbus has gone nonsmoking. This is a great place frequented by all from college kids to folks with children. This is a no brainer for a good meal.
