This was my first experience with an Embassy Suites but it will not be my last. I traveled with my husband and our 4 children.

The hotel was nice on the outside and located near the airport. The inside was beautiful. They were doing some remodeling but it did not affect our stay in any way. There was a path throught the lobby and fountains the children enjoyed throwing pennies in. The giftshop was small but nice.

We stayed in a 2 Room Suite with 2 Double Beds. I liked that the room was huge and very upacale and elegant. The colors were beautiful, beds were soft and the children fought over the blankets b/c they were soooo fluffy. Down maybe. There was a tv in the bedroom and one in the living room as well. There was a fridge and sink area that was very nice and coffee pot in the room. There was already an extra pillow and blanket in the closet, which I liked. Everything was very clean and the room smelled fine. The only complaint I had with the room was that there was no view from the bedroom window and in the am we could hear, what I assumed were, delivery trucks in the back lot of the hotel.

We received a complimentary cooked to order breakfast everyday of our stay and with four children we saved a lot of money. The breakfast was very crowded but the food was good. There was a line for what would have been a buffet but you are served and you just tell them what you want. They had coffee, cereal, juices everything you could possibly want for breakfast. To my surprise and delight they even had a cappuccino maker. We did have trouble one morning getting forks but when I asked one of the ladies bussing the tables she brought us some first when they came out of the kichen. They also had a nightly managers reception where, I believe, we had tickets for free coctails but we didn't take advantage of that.

The pools were nice. There are 2. An indoor pool and an outdoor pool. We used both. I liked that there were towels at both pools and there was plenty of seating. The pools were also open late. Until, I believe it was, midnight. That was great for us b/c we didn't get back to the hotel until late.

They had a workout room that we didn't use--it seemed small and a sauna but it was closed for renovation.

This hotel was right in our budget and saved us a ton of money on breakfast. I paid $109 for my weeknights and $119 for weekend nights. We did have to pay for parking, which I always think is ridiculous b/c you're paying to stay at the hotel anyway but it was $6 per day or we used the valet parking for $10 a day. Checkin was at 3pm and checkout was a 12pm, which is great. Most hotels are kicking you out by 10 or 11am.

I would def. stay here again.

Although the hotel lobby/atrium area is in good shape, the rooms in this hotel need major renovation. I stayed here after a long day of work and was too tired to complain of the following:
Room smelled musty - with a slight essence of dirty cat litter.
Furnishings and carpeting were old and worn.
Bath tub was visibly dirty as well as stained.
Drain in tub had more rust than chrome.
As I went to climb into bed the carpet next to the bed was soaking wet - which explained the awful odor in the room. I dread to think what made it wet - but I will tell you that I rushed to the bathroom to wash my feet!
Water stains on bathroom ceiling.
No "Do not Disturb" sign in room - I had to make a homemade one.
ES - I normally love their breakfast -
Omlette chef was surly and unfriendly. Omlette was undercooked and unappetizing.
Charge of $6.00 to self park car - $10,00 to valet - is unreasonable.
Front Desk staff extremely pleasant and apologetic - however I travel every week and need a clean pleasant place to lay my head rather than comps and apologies.
I stay in Atlanta airport vicinity hotels every few months - I have had better experiences with the Hilton Hotel on Virginia Avenue or the Hilton Garden Inn which is right next door to ES. However, both these Hotels also charge the same fees for parking.

“Not a bad place to crash if you encounter flight problems”

Our flight to Lima, Peru was cancelled so we needed a place to crash for the night. For $99, it was a great value because the van zipped over late at night to pick us up then took us back early the next morning. Breakfast started before the stated time of 6:30am. Room was clean and comfy. The gift shop was supposed to open at 7am but clerk didn't show up until nearly 8am and I really wanted to buy a new shirt since our luggage was still at the airport. Staff wasn't rude but they were indifferent and couldn't care less about checking you in/out efficiently. Not a bad place for one night but I'd look elsewhere if you need business center support.

Stayed one night with my wife and 2 children. The inside of the hotel is typical embassy suites, atrium, restaurant, complimentary breakfast, etc. The rooms are nothing really special other than being suite. The breakfast was ok. The restaurant in the hotel was decent but expensive and terribly slow. No exaggeration. Overall though, above average hotel.

My family stayed at this location for one night. The rooms are run down and are not typical for a ES property. The lobby and forum areas were well kept and looked great so we were dissapointed in the condition of our room. The windows had a lot of smudges and sunbstances on them that viewing out was eliminated because we kept the curtains closed to avoid looking at them. The hotel staff was friendly and coutious except the valet. He was very rude and when addressed the manager on duty she went over and corrected the situation promptly and waived the $6 self parking fee ($10 if they park your car)
I will not stay at this hotel again until major renovations occur. The hotel is just not up to par for an ES.
