This hotel follows the same concept of all Embassy Suites hotels- center atrium, complimentary cocktails and breakfast, etc. We have stayed here twice in the last 12 months and have found the hotel to have both positives and negatives. First, the good: The hotel is very close to the airport, as well as the GA International Convention Center (1 exit). The front desk staff was cordial. The hotel has some nice services (free breakfast and cocktial hour), and parking is reasonable for the area. There is also an on-site restaurant (average food, very slow service),and small gift shop. The rooms are typical Embassy Suites, though ours had a disgusting- looking stain in the middle of the living area carpet. Now for the negatives: We stayed three nights and had to be up early every morning. Breakfast was scheduled to start at 7:00 am on the weekend, and 6:30 on the week days. Every morning we arrived at breakfast to find the staff beginning to set up at the time that breakfast was to be served. Therefore, it was not possible to have a hot breakfast until half and hour after the start time. In addition, the food quality was poor. The breakfast staff was unfriendly. We also waited up to 25 minutes per day for for the valet parking staff to bring our car.
We are frequent travlers whom I believe have reasonable expectations of quality and service. It's our opinion that his hotel is a pretty good value only if you aren't able to find a comparable rate at one of the full- service airport hotels.

I will definately come again. Even though check in time is at 3:00pm. We were driving from Lorton Virginia, and realized we were going to get there much earlier. I called the hotel about two hours before we got there. Asking them if we could check in sooner. The women said it would not be a problem. We arrived there at 11:00am, and our room was ready. My husband, 3 year old son, and 20 month old daughter had enough room. We liked the seperate bedroom and living area. The complimentary breakfast was also enjoyable. The hotel food is pretty expensive, $7.50 for a hamberger. I wish we did not have to pay for parking. Otherwise the hotel is clean and very nice. The hotel staff was very friendly. I really do not understand some of the complaints. We had a very enjoyable stay and will come back again when visiting Atlanta.

“Nice hotel, needs a little improvement”

Embassy Suites Hotel Atlanta Airport

Oct 28, 2005

Met my husband here as he returned from a trip. The staff was helpful, the valet parking convenient, and the room was very nice. I liked the room amenities and the bed was very nice. The room was clean. We used room service and it was excellent. However, there were some glitches. We checked in Friday night for a 2 night stay. It took until after 5 PM on Saturday to get our room made up. The free hot breakfast left a lot to be desired. The wireless internet was not free, in fact cost $10 per day. That was outrageous since most hotels offer it for free. I might stay there again, but will probably try some other places first.

We had an unexpected layover in Atlanta and called this hotel as the chain has always been good. This hotel in not an Embassy Suite. The toilet was plugged when we arrived and was not fixed the entire time we were there.
Rude staff and non English speaking crew--Delta flight crew stayed there the same night--no wonder the airline is going broke.

We stayed here last summer... Still having nightmares over this place.... The light in the pool came off and floated with wires in the water...with kids in it... rude...really rude staff....bad shuttle service to airport( don't depend on it if you need to be there at a specific time....) We complained about these things (and other stuff that went wrong) we were given a fruit plate and a free hotel night.....however....I would not, could not go back to this fright again.......
