What can I say? It was just a single night's stay, but everything was perfectly fine. The room was clean, the A/C worked well, (which is a TOP priority for me), and the flat-panel high-def. TV was fantastic. Didn't hear excess noise from other rooms and the restaurant downstairs served a good meal. You're probably only going to stay here if you need to be near the airport or if you're on a layover, and if that's the case, you can't go wrong here. Pretty decent price, too. I think I paid something like $85. Make sure to ask for an AAA discount if you're a member.

Stayed here one night to stay close to the Airport, so I can't get into exactly too much experience to go off of.

First off, the hotel is located close to the airport, but the airport is a bit of a drive from everything else. So if you plan to have dinner outside of the hotel, be prepare to leave early, especially if you're leaving around rush hour.

The Valet Car Service is absolutely horrible. Every single time I needed them to bring my car over, was just a frustrating experience. Each time I would call about 10 mins before heading downstairs, and each time I waited for over 15 mins for me to get my car. It was never ready, and half the time, they forgot I even called from my room. So, I guess call ahead before you go downstairs, and make sure you make it clear you want it ready when you get down. Otherwise, they'll just forget.

As far as everything else, the room itself had newer amenities, (flat screen television, hook ups for your laptop, etc) I believe it's one of those new "modern" Marriotts that they're now advertising. Also they've got more than one restaurant on site, so if you're planning a bite to eat, with no hassle, that seems to be a plus.

If only the Valet didn't suck so hard, I would feel more inclined to give this place a thumbs up.

My wife and I were stranded for the night at the Atlanta Airport. We arrived at about 12:45am. We were tired and frustrated. Fortunately, we called the Marriott and quickly reserved a room at a tremendous AAA rate. The hotel shuttle picked us up at the airport within 10 minutes and we were at the hotel in about 5 minutes. The hotel was clean and bright. The room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The beds were the best I've slept on in a hotel. Oh, did I mention our luggage didn't make it to Atlanta with us? No problem though, the great staff at the Marriott provided us with all of the necessities (including contact solution) that we needed! Check in was a breeze and the breakfast buffet was outstanding! I highly recommend this hotel!

Needed to stay in Atlanta one night so we could visit a store the next day in Atlanta. I booked the hotel after seeing a decent price on hotels.com and reading the first page of reviews here. I contacted the hotel for a late checkin which was no problem. I arrived at the hotel and was notified of the parking charges by the attendant wich were a couple dollars off of what Marriot central reservations had notified me of. Check in went smooth and they also notified me that the entire hotel was non-smoking. They also directed us to the pool location, two lounges, two resturants, yada, yada, yada. This hotel has been redone with the Marroiot Plug in technology. Features a 32" LG HDTV Widescreen LCD, digital HD cable channels and a panel at the desk to turn it into a pc. It also features a wireless keyboard, HDMI, and the a VGA cable to plug your laptop into the panel. It had the signature Marriot matress and down comforter. The King bed also had about 6 pillows on it plus two pillows in the storage part of the cabinet. It is damn near the most comfortable thing I have ever rested my head on The bathroom was spotless with granit countertop and chrome fixtures. Also there was a small sign in the room that if they catch you smoking or evidence of smoking in your room or anywhere in the building it will cost you over 200usd. We already decided that on our return trip to Atlanta we will probably come back here since it is in a good location, good price, great service, and a great room.
