After getting our room canceled on us at the Springhill Suites in Newnan and getting a last minute room at the Country Inn in Newnan for one night we decided to stay the remaining part of our trip at the Hyatt Place-College Park. Everything happens for a reason and I am so glad we ended up staying here for our last two nights. Our rate was fantastic, around $85 with AAA discount. The room layout at this property was well thought-out and very spacious. Our room had 2 double beds, one large flat screen tv, sectional sofa, ottoman, desk, several outlets to plug in all our devices and a refrigerator, the only thing missing was a microwave. The beds were comfortable but they made a noise when you moved around, however this is no reason to not stay here. The bathroom was small but it served its purpose and the sink is outside of the bathroom-in fact the room has two sinks. The outdoor swimming pool was pretty average, it went from 3 feet to 5 feet and they had plenty of towels stocked. The morning breakfast was very good, lots of hot and cold options and the staff was always making sure there was enough available. Hyatt has won us over and from now on we will try to stay at Hyatt Place hotels when available because it works so well for our family.
