Booked here by a client and I must say, if I'd have had a choice I'd have said NO WAY. There were signs everywhere warning you to not open your door without checking first. And I mean EVERYWHERE. The elevator was keycard operated which is added security, but when you add in the signage, it appeared to me that they may have had some problems.

The rooms are small and mostly clean. The staff was just okay. But the part that would be bad for families was what happened to me while channel surfing. As I flipped through channels actually looking for news, what did I come across? Free porn. And we're talking hard core pornography. Just think if you're traveling with your kids and THEY happen to be channel surfing while you're showering or something. I think you might have some explaining to do, especially if your kids are small!

I wouldn't stay there again. And I told my client to never put me there again either.

Allen checked us in and we had a great time - the entire time! His personality will sell this hotel right from the start. After making us laugh we went to the bar for a couple of reasonably priced beers and bar food, which was delicious.
The room was spacious and met our needs - shower only - no tub.
Great having a hot tub - would have been nice if it had stayed open a little later!
Shuttle was easy to find and was a quick ride.

Excellent place to stay if you are visiting Atlanta. The Sales Manager goes out of her way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. I would reccomend this property to everyone.

We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Select Airport South on Feb 27, 07. We used Priceline and got our hotel for $60. We arrived early to the airport so we decided to go ahead and head to the hotel to see if early check in might be available. Upon calling before arriving we were told they were not any available but they could hold our bags while we went downtown but we were very HAPPY to be told there was a room available once we arrived via their shuttle. The lady at the front desk was VERY helpful and very nice...I believe her name was Joyce....SHE WAS GREAT!! The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was nice with some upgrades. No funny smells or anything. Only complaint was the beds REALLY need to be upgraded or just replaced. They were pretty hard. After checking in and putting our things up we jumped back on the shuttle to the airport to get on Marta. The shuttle driver was awesome!! He was very helpful with downtown information. After returning to the hotel later that afternoon we again left headed to Philips Arena to see a concert. It was about 30min to reach the Arena via Marta. After the concert we made in back to the airport in time to catch the shuttle back to the hotel. Be advised the last shuttle leaves the airport at 12:45AM. Checkout was 12pm....it was great to be able to sleep in before heading back to the airport. Overall....GREAT hotel for $60. I don't think I would pay the $139 advertised on their website.
