We stayed here one other time and the king suite room was great. This time we needed two queen beds and personally called the front desk to make the reservation. The desk clerk made the reservations over the phone for 2 queen beds in a non smoking room with the government rate with no problems noted. However, when we arrived a different front desk clerk stated that they did not have any queen rooms available and that they had not had any for 2 months, even though the choice hotels online booking system showed 3 non-smoking queens available for the night of our stay at the time we made the reservations. The clerk also stated the lady that booked the reservation told us that it was going to be a king room with a pull out bed because we were using the government rate and the hotels does not normally honor the choice hotel government rate even though I have stayed at the same hotel before using the government rate. When I told him he was mistaken he basically said that they do not make mistakes and called me a liar. Finally an other couple who was checking in at the same time said they would take the king room so that we could have the queen. When we got the room that they gave us is was atrocious. The furniture was dirty and had tears in it and the bathroom was less than satisfactory. It is amazing how the staffs degree of professionalism and courtesy can change in just a few short months and the drastic difference between rooms. My advice is to find another lodging option.
