“A wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

A side trip to Costello del Trebbio was one of the highlights of our recent Italian vacation. We toured the castle, the winery, and had a wonderful meal. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and the food was authentic Italian and the wine was excellent. We would definitely recommend this to anyone traveling in this area of Italy.

“Thanks for the day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

We just spent three days in Florence this past May 2014 just doing the tourist thing.

One of those days we took part of to visit Castello del Trebbio. The Castle staff arranged the transport for us to the castle from our hotel in Florence and took the time to explain the bus route for the trip back home. All of this was done by e-mail prior to leaving the US.

A real eye opener this castle with an exceptional tour of it, the winery, and the Olive Oil section. The young lady giving the tour was making this fun and imparting a lot of knowledge. Anna came in at the latter part and helped out again with a great deal of info. The wine tasting and the oil tasting was the best I've been to including a number of vineyards we have visited in Ca.

A short thank you letter we sent to Castello del Trebbio after our tour with them follows.

A world of thanks to you and all involved for your assistance in getting us to and from as well as a wonderful day spent visiting a truly remarkable piece of Italian history. It was easily the most enjoyable tour of our three week stay.

The tour was probably the best we had been on. Since we took a 12 day Norwegian Cruise out of Venice after our 3 day stay in Florence we ended up going on a number of tours. Castello del Trebbio was offered thru the cruise line as well but we luckily caught you earlier on our own and not any of the other tours offers anything even remotely as fascinating as this one.

(Maybe Ephesus was as good as this one but that's for a latter discussion)

Please let Anna and all involved know they did a marvelous job and it was a day very well spent. Even the bus trip was a joy on the way back as it lived up to our expectations here as well. We were warned that this was the best by friends and they did not steer us wrong.

Thanks again

Tom and Caryn

“Magical Wedding”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

As the mother of the groom, I had no control of the site selection or any other selections regarding menu and settings, etc. Yet, I was not let down in any way at all.

This castle setting and the staff were beyond superb! Food was beyond amazing! Wine was ... perfect!

I will return for a visit soon.

“A Taste of Yesterday and Today”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

As a side excursion on our wonderful Trafalgar coach tour we stopped for dinner, some wine and a tour at Castello del Trebbio. It was a trip into history visiting a Pazzi family castle and a fabulous meal accompanied by glorious chianti. The grounds were beautiful. the castle enchanting and ooh that chianti! Since we couldn't take the castle with us, we had some chianti shipped home to enjoy later.

“Cruise Land Tour Castello del Trebbio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

We took a shore excursion to Castello del Trebbio while on a Mediterranean cruise and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Alberto is very passionate about his family history, as well as their olive oil and wine production. The scenery and views are spectacular and the tour was both interesting and informative. The olive oil and wine tasting was a very pleasant experience. We took many tours on this cruise and this was by far the most enjoyable as it allowed us to "relax" and enjoy the surroundings, while sampling their products. I've enjoyed wine in the past and am far from an expert, but the location and their passion comes through in the products.
