“Breakfast!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2012 via mobile

Breakfast is the draw here with the best biscuits ever. It's like stepping into a time capsule, but worth the trip.

“You Gotta sit on a Stool!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2011 via mobile

Ross' Diner (The Buscuit House) sits in the middle of downtown Cartersville next door to the historic Grand Theater.

This local joint has been in the same family for owed 50 years, and is THE breakfast place in town opening at 6:30 am and yes, the biscuits are still hand made.

You step back in time to the 50's and 60's and Joan and Stepanie know your name and order by heart.

Owner Hal Ross stays in the kitchen most of the time but ventures out to greet guest regularly.

Lunch fare is their wold famous chili dogs and burgers. Surprisingly they have fabulous veggies and country fried steak and a great hamburger steak as well.

The most unusual menu item is the Suzie Q - a hamburger bun with either chili or steak gravy!

The diner closes at 2:30 pm and is open on Fridays until 8 pm - "When you gotta have Ross's."

“Its just OK”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2009

The food is OK, but it is really tight, you have to suck in to let people get in behind you and there is no bathroom...

Do you want to feel like you know everyone in town? This is the place to go. Very old school & very wonderful.
