We saw the sign for the Eastern Buffet on Interstate 75 while traveling South. We needed to get gasoline for the car so we stopped at the Calhoun Exit.
The Eastern Buffet opened at eleven AM and we were there just as little after it opened. There were very few people in there.
We were seated promptly and after we ordered our drinks we went to their buffet. It was beautiful, bountiful and wonderful.
There was an area where customers could pick out what they would like to have for stir-fry and they prepared it fresh while waiting.
Not only was this place decorated nicely, the food was the best I have ever had. By the time we were finished eating it was packed! There were a lot of business people in there ordering take out.
So glad we stopped. We will definitely make sure if we are going down Interstate 75 near Calhoun, Georgia, it will be near lunch time.
