My husband and I were travelling to Florida with our family and we decided to stop in Byron Ga to rest for the night. We chose the Days Inn because we were familiar with the chain and had stayed in them several times. Big mistake. I have never been as disappointed in a hotel as I was with this one. The room was filthy and it smelled horrible. The beds were uncomfortable and the linens were stained and torn. If we weren't so exhausted we would have left right then but we needed the rest so we chose to stay.
The next morning when we were checking out I reported the condition of the room to the front desk person who half heartedly apologized for the condition of the room told us to have a safe trip and basically dismissed us. We didn't even attempt the breakfast bar because the room was full and there was barely any food to eat anyway.
We will never make this mistake again.

This was a late decision to stay on the way to Florida. As it turned out, better late than never. The room was furnished well and modern, save for the tv, had a fridge, and microwave. The room was clean, had comfortable beds and decent linen. Towels were a touch rough. The best news is it was quiet. So often, inexpensive motels are noisy and drafty. This was neither.
I would have given a better rating except the breakfast area was really skimpy. There is no room. However, there are breakfast choices close by and they are a better choice. Strange, there is a sign in the breakfast "nook" about not taking food back to the room. Funny, that is maybe the only place to sit down to eat.
Stay here for the good room, not for breakfast.

Traveling alone I found this hotel safe and quiet for my brief stay. The room met all the needs a weary traveler could want. Breakfast in the morning got me on my way quickly. The staff was professional.
