“Great for a Hotel Water Park”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

I did not expect the water park to be as large and offer as many slides and options of things to do for a Hotel but it was great and they had plenty of Life Guards around.

“Decent but not the greatest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

The water park is small beach is clean but I'm not one for swimming in Lanier, it is however a great place to fish and boat!!! Make sure you have a Georgia fishing license and it's up to date as DNR is out EVERYWHERE!

“Family fun-worth the day trip!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

I'm not a fan of water parks to begin with, but I was out-voted by the family on this one and it turned out to be a fun day. The park was not crowded at all. We arrived around 11:30 and easily found plenty of chairs in the shade. The park is larger than expected, so plan to spend at least 5-6 hours there. Here are some other notes:

* parking is $10
* you can bring in dry snacks and water bottles - no coolers
* your wristband will also get you rides on the carnival attractions when they open up in the afternoon
* you can go in and out of the park with your wristband if you want to pack a lunch and keep the cooler in your car
* wear some very good comfortable swim shoes! lots of walking on hot cement, sand, water, etc
* be prepared for walking up some steep hills and tons of stairs, and also while carrying your tubes or mats for the slides! The stairs and hills really are tiring even if you are in good shape.
* food prices aren't too overly priced at all. A variety of foods to choose from.
* Mondays are the best day to go
* Publix grocery stores in the area offer some coupons if you have time to get them before you go
* the park is a good combination of water activities in the lake as well as water attractions
* very clean bathrooms and shower area but no family bathrooms

Highly recommend spending a day here!

“Water Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

Fun and not too crowded. Relaxing and appropriate for the whole family. My 5 year old could ride just about every ride! Even some she chose not too.
