This is one of a cluster of hotels, and one of the cheaper options, by Georgia Exit #38 on the east coast's major north-south highway. If you're looking for a place to break a long drive with a night's sleep it's a good choice.

This is a typical but well-run example of the Econo Lodge brand; basic lodgings, but clean and well maintained. Basically, this is where to come if all you're looking for a bed, a bathroom and a door with a lock. There is coffee and a minimal continental breakfast available in the morning.

Nearby you'll find a grocery store and other walkable shopping options, while a larger mall is a short drive away.

We arrived late night-early morning and the outside of hotel was nice.
We went outside to get our bags and the lady at the counter was gone and we were locked out of the place. The lady showed back up and let us inside. Once inside the place smelled funky and our room was dirty. We found 2 out 4 pillows dirty and stained. The bathroom commode was dirty with urine stains (see pictures) and shower had hairs from previous users.
The beds were ok at best but not well cushioned. We checked out early in the morning and headed over to the Sleep Inn to get some rest. The beds are comfy and clean.

What a great hotel for the price. I was truely amazed by the quality of this Econo Lodge. Our room was excellent and right by the pool. One problem with AC but our room was switched right away. Front desk even brought the new key and helped move bags. Breakfast can be improved and the ice machines need a little love but I am completely satisfied with the product and service. If our family is ever back in town we will surely stay here again.

The room was only $45 a night, so I wasn't expecting something grand in fact when i pulled up to the front it was about what I expected; a little run down and in need of some fixing up. The area in general seemed a little impoverished. Then we got to the room which was at the back of the hotel near the pool. The locals walked through the back parking lot as a short cut to pick up cases of beer. Most were smoking a swearing and either wearing wife beaters or no shirts at all. Loud party sounds and breaking bottles could be heard nearby.
The room smelled musty! Hit ya like a ton a bricks. When the covers were pulled back a long black hair was found on the pillow and dried snot on the cover. It was late so we got the kids to bed, we needed to leave first thing in the morning. The next morning I went to use the shower and found mold on the shower head pubic hairs on the walls of the shower. We were on are way to Orlando, so we loaded up the kids and left. Never staying there again.
