“Cheap!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013 via mobile

We paid $53 a night which was awesome! The staff was very friendly. Our room was missing a shower curtain, and didnt have a proper fitted sheet, but other than that the bed was comfortable and TV was fine. Breakfast was satisfactory at best, nothing was fresh (all prepackaged pastries and such), and they were out of cream cheese. All that being said, for about $50 a night...still a pretty good deal! I wouldn't mind staying there again.

“Great value, pet friendly, great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

While looking for a new "half way point" hotel for our drive down to south Florida we came across this little gem. It's pet friendly, very clean, hotel staff is very friendly, and great location. The beds are very comfortable too. Even though they said "continental breakfast" they had hot and cold cereals, bagels, fruit, muffins, breads, breakfast bars, much more than the continental breakfast of just donuts and coffee. We make this trip several times a year and we love our new half way point hotel. We will definitely be return customers.

“Pet Friendly and Great Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

Pet Friendly and Great Value! I first started coming here when it was a Hampton Inn and have continued to do so after they discontinued that association. Breakfast is still a little sparse but getting better. However the room rate more than compensates for athe difference. Cierra at the front desk is always very helpful. This is my fourth visit this year. It is a good midway location for my trip - hopefully is is for yours as well.

Room Tip: I prefer the second floor.

“Good Value for the Price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

This hotel used to be a Hampton Inn, a fact that is evident by the alarm clock, television channel guide, and errant signage throughout the establishment that still bear the Hampton logo. The prices, however; are now much cheaper. I spent several nights here and the beds are comfortable, the sleep quality generally good, and the amenities serviceable. A few bad points though... This is an older hotel, the bathroom wallpaper was peeling, the faucet in the tub dripped, and the curtains were foul smelling. The breakfast was, as one other guest pointed out here, as if someone raided a vending machine, lots of prepackaged crap. During my stay I made my own instant oatmeal in my room (the stuff they had was so old it was in hard clumps. They have a fitness room and pool, but they are around back of this hotel, which is generally desolate, and that didn't seem real safe. When I used the fitness room, it smelled so strongly of mold I didn't want to spend to long in there. Additionally, the treadmill was broken and would shut off suddenly about two minutes into the workout - definately a hazard. Several of the doors to the rooms on were missing handles and logs entirely. Those on the lower opened right out onto the sidewalk, and, without a lock to keep people out, made me feel unsafe walking by (anyone could be in there - no lock to keep them out). The vending machine on my floor ate my money. Finally, the staff was not real friendly (except Keya (sp?)) or welcoming. You get what you pay for, but, if the details were paid attention to, this could be a very nice hotel.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the bottom floor unless you don't mind mold.

“Perfect rest for a long drive...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2012

I called the night before to reserve a room as it was the best midway point for my trip. There is plenty of restaurants and gas stations nearby. I asked for a smoking room for a late arrival. When I got there, Keya (sp) greeted me with a smile and had my reservation ready. The room was clean and looked newer than the outside of the hotel. In fact it looks like it used to be a Hampton Inn and I like the idea of not paying Hampton prices. I didn't get the lady's name at check out, but she was nice and she made sure to point out their breakfast. I never eat the hotel breakfast unless they have a restaurant. Why do hotels even offer a breakfast anyway? I'd rather just pay for the room.
