“Don't Believe their "..deluxe free continental breakfast" advertising!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2011

The room was "ok". their free breakfast was substandard, and definitely should not be called, "Deluxe"! They only had lukewarm coffee/tea, boxed cereal, bad frozen fruit mix, a pitcher of lukewarm milk & orange juice, very tiny bagels, 3 kinds of gooey packaged rolls, and bread. There were no large plates available, no TV, no fruit, no yogurt, no waffles, no eggs, no sausage. To get to the breakfast, you have to go outside the motel to another building.

Friday night - checked in - quickly at 11pm - rooms in back are mor difficult to get to - stairs with a big suitcase stinks! Better off asking for a front ODD number room in the 100's! Didn't make it to the continental breakfast - can't tell you about that - but nice new heavy down comforter and lots of pillows and towels - tv worked good fridge and microwave like new in room - very modern and updated!! Got a better price when chekcing in than when looking online throught the website or expedia!! 2 beds in a room are full/double NOT queen, double check that!! Safe in room, pool not active it is very green and gross! If staying longer - there is a fishing pond by the highway with ducks etc. Overall a very nice stay - there is a bar/restaurant nearby that starts music around midnight - but if you have your fan on the a/c or tv on you don't hear it at all - with it off you hear bass and some light music!! We were here on a Friday though!

Completely filthy! Inside and out, stray cats roam the halls. Tub does not drain properly,
cobwebs in corners, spiders under the covers, Stayed in room #218. Will never stay at any hotel associated with the Clarion as long as I live. Three star rating? Must be rigging the reviews!

We stayed at the Clarion Inn in Brunswick, GA on Aug. 17, 2010. We thought, since it was affiliated with Quality Inns, that it would be a fairly nice, clean place to spend the night. Wow! were we ever wrong. When we opened the door, immediately a musty smell rushed into your nostrils. Then we noticed how dark the room appeared. We thought, oh well, it's just old--but that wasn't all. After we had brought a few things inside, I went to the restroom before going out to dinner. That is when I noticed that the toliet did not look like it had been cleaned. We were running late, it was 8:45 P.M., so rather than complain and have to find another hotel, I sprayed it with some disinfectant that I carry and we went on out to eat. After we returned to the hotel (about 10:20 P.M.), I turned down the bed only to find a live bug underneath the comforter! I don't mind a little dust, but a dirty toilet and finding a live bug underneath the covers was a little much.

Recently stayed there for a funeral. They gave our family a cheap group rate, we had about 10 rooms. The lobby is really nice. The room was nice- better than I expected. It was very up to date and clean. The bathroom was still a little shabby. The front desk staff were helpful with suggestions of places to eat. (the seafood place next door was good) The grounds people were helpful in telling me the best place to park to be near my room. The pool was clean and open late. The Gazebo provided shade. The free breakfast was very basic. French toast, cereal, bagels, toast and juice. The pictures on their website are true pics. I will stay there the next time I am in the city.

i have been staying at this Clarion Inn twice a year for a couple of years now. I've always had a good stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is courteous and competant, rates are reasonable and feels like the place has been upgraded every time I stop by. I would recommend this place to business and leisure folks alike.

I stayed at the Clarion in Brunswick while on the way to meet friends for a girls weekend. My plane arrived late and I just needed a comfortable, convenient and cost-effective place to stay overnight before meeting them the next day around lunch-time. The price was extremely reasonable and the hotel is very close to I-95. It is an upgraded motor lodge type facility and I backed right up to the door to my room. No hauling suitcases for miles. The room was comfortable and the beds and linens were of superior quality. The bathroom was adequate and the towels were nice. Lighting over the sink could have been better but it was not bad. There was coffee and tea in the room, real glasses and mugs (not disposables) and continental breakfast in the morning. The lobby appeared to have been recently redone and was modern but tasteful and nice. It included at least two computers for printing boarding passes and checking email. Wi-fi was available in the room at no additional charge. The property is not a resort but it did have a very nice pool which I regret I did not get to use. The exercise room was pretty basic (2 treadmills and one other piece of equipment) but the weather was pretty so I decided I would walk outdoors. The staff was courteous and seemed to be quite competent. A decision about whether to stay here will probably depend on your priorities. If you want a cost effective and convenient stop-over close to the interstate, this hotel is a good option. I would happily stay hear again.
