At 10:30 on a Friday night the only staff member at the hotel was one desk clerk. She tried very hard to satisfy all of the guest's needs, but was overloaded. It took 20 minutes to check in, as she had to handle other guest issues at the same time. She did the best she could, but the lack of any managment support on a busy Friday night was unforgivable for a quality hotel. God forbid if there had been a safety or security issue arise. Ownership of this hotel needs to look at management skills and staffing priorities.
